Picked up a PS4 Pro for RDR2, fun, but want a good RPG. My primary style run along the lines of Final Fantasy, FFIII (SNES) being my all time favorite.
Throw in some Zelda style and Secret of Mana.
Just roll off some names for me please.

Final Fantasy XV
Of those, I am Setsuna is the closest to Final Fantasy. Persona 5 is a killer game, but its kind of a mini dating sim too. But don’t let that fool you.
Also, Tales of Berseria is a great action-oriented RPG.
FF XV is cool enough, a lot darker than the other entries into the series.
Horizon: Zero Dawn was extremely good, although I can’t be sure it will fit your playstyle.
And I think Monster Hunter: World has gotten great praise, but I know nothing about that game.

They are good games but they are not really what the op is looking for, I think.

- D&D:Neverwinter- was super fun to level but end game sucked.
- FFXIV- supposed to rival wow. Is on ps4
Just single player rpg
- Horizon zero dawn
- Monster hunter world
- Witcher series is hands down amazing
- Of course God Of War!!!
- Uncharted is one awesome game aswell

Have fun man, there’s good games on both consoles, but from my experience ps4 has better single player games. Multi-player is better on Xbox, and graphic games and complex controls are better on PC. Well gaming in general is more fun on pc
I only really like Bioware RPGS like Dragon Age or Mass Effect

One that is really good (but not meeting the criteria of the OP) is the Divinity Original Sin games - I think those got PS4 ports?
