Naga hide or masterful navigation?

Looking to get my new weapon enchanted.
Protection spec. M+ tanking.

wondering if naga hide or masterful navigation is better for tanking damage?

Thanks guys.

Neither.

If Haste is your highest secondary: Force Multiplier
If Haste is not your highest secondary: Quick Navigation

What Reese said.

I’m no where near a professional mythic+ runner. I typically do my 11-12’s and that’s it but I’ve always found the weapon enchant to be interesting. Quick navigation I can agree with, it’s a pretty decent amount of haste.

However, everyone says “force multiplier” which is short 264 strength and like 170 secondary stat buff, and going against the grain here… That seems very minimal once you start hitting 430+ ilevel.

Naga hide gives the same 264 primary with a pretty decent absorb with it (which actually puts up decent numbers in the healing/absorb category in the logs). I can’t think of the exact % of it in the overall scheme.

But anyways, it’s interesting a random proc of 170 haste for 10 seconds? (I think I have near close to 1500 haste at this point) is preferable over a free small absorb shield (which absorbs magic damage as well).

I’m guessing maybe because the haste also helps raise your dps by 1%? (along with the standard CD reductions)?

I’m not going to worry about the exact numerical math here personally as plenty of others have already completed it.

Force Multiplier is really good for offensive use. Quick Nav for keeping SotR uptime higher.

Naga Hide you sacrifice SotR uptime

The haste proc isn’t just more dps. More hits means more Grand Crusader proc chances, and depending on your Azerite traits, the absorb from Bulwark of Light is greater than that of Naga Hide. I get a 47k shield every GC proc I can take advantage of.

Does Force Multiplier stack, it does not read that way? It reads as a shadow of what Quick Navigation provides.
Every time I block, dodge or parry Naga Hide givens me 264 strength for 15 seconds. For a pack of 6 adds I have 1/4 chance of a parry every attack. I have a basic 41% chance of a block. With Trajectory Analysis I can have dodge at 15-30%
For every physical attack I have a good chance of getting a stack of 264 Str and no mention of a limit?

Neither force multiplier nor naga hide stack. Naga hide has a chance to proc each dodge/block/parry, it doesn’t block every one. Both are 3 rppm assuming you’re tanking the whole time without tank swaps. The strength is thus the same but for one you get 170 secondary (should be haste) and the other you get 15k absorb. 15k absorb is nothing, so might as well get the haste.
