What is the Great Hunt?
The Great Hunt is a four day long hunt that pits the players against each other in a search for the biggest and baddest enemies they can find and take down.

Anyone! Everyone! As always, we will accept anyone who wishes to come out and have a great time.

Hello hello, Wyrmrest Accord. Summertime is approaching and you all know what that means.
The Great Hunt draws near! This July the hunt will be gathering in Pandaria. Once more the hunt will cross into two zones, encompassing the Townlong Steppes and Kun-Lai Summit.
Everyone is invited to join in on this epic four day long hunt for the biggest, baddest, most epic encounters that you can find in the hunting grounds. Pandaria has been mostly peaceful for the last several years, but who knows what’s stirring beneath the surface and appearances these days. It’s time to investigate.
We will get together to have teams finalized and formed on July 7(Sunday) and the hunting days will occur during the following week. July 8, July 9, July 11, and July 12 will be the hunting days. We will be meeting at Winter’s Blossom in Kun-Lai Summit. Invites to our group will begin at 5 ST to get everyone together before the hunt. The hunt will start at 5:30 PM server time and last for 3 hours. July 10(Wednesday) will be a day of reprieve during the event where participants can gather and enjoy a nice evening talking about their successes and the dangerous things they’ve encountered.
At the end of the last day the points will be tallied and the victors will be announced. There will be two winning teams and each participant will receive 500k gold, the prestigious title of Huntsmaster. The Grand Prize winners, the players with the most points, will receive a commission from MiffedMist on Twitter for winning the hunt. As this is our tenth year of running the Great Hunt, we’ve added a few more prizes and categories for people to be rewarded for. These prizes and categories will be kept secret until the final day when we’re crowning our victors, so don’t think just because you have a bad string of luck you won’t walk out of the hunt with nothing. Come one and all to see if you can win the gold and the glory.
Those of you who wish to participate we have created an application sheet for you to fill out. Please have these filled out at the latest on July 7th before we start the Great Hunt. If we do not have an application form submitted from you before this time we will regrettably be unable to let you in on the fun.
