Darkmoon's Finest turns one year old this Faire Week! Join us as we give our sincerest thanks to the roleplay community for allowing us to entertain over the past few months. We'll be serving food, playing music, hosting games, raffles, and contests galore! This is a small party we are throwing as a thank-you to the Moon Guard community!
We've spent all year entertaining you, so now we ask that you do the same: we urge you all to come in your ugliest, goofiest, WILDEST transmogs!
- 8:00 PM - Event begins. Introductory speech by Darkmoon’s Finest.
- 8:15 PM - At this point the buffet table, dance floor, and Murloc Marsh booth will be open.
- 8:45 PM - Hot Dog Eating Competition begins. We will call for competitors five minutes prior.
- 9:30 PM - Cackling Carnie Joke-Telling Competition
- 10:15 PM - Tacky Transmog Contest Finale. We will call for competitors ten minutes prior. If you intend to participate in this we urge that you come to the party already dressed up in your transmog.
Please note this is a rough timeline! We will be following it as best as we are able but spillovers are to be expected. So long as you are having fun we will not rush to usher people to the next event!

Whether you want to tuck into an old-fashion Darkmoon Dog or take a walk on the wild side with a crunchy frog, we will be here to suit your every culinary need! Murloc Marsh: Everyone’s a winner down at murloc marsh! Styled after the classic Lucky Duck carnival game, this floating tub of rubber murlocs boasts a menagerie of prizes just beneath the surface! Simply pick a murloc and see what prize you win! Simple roll game with IC prizes.
Hot Dog Eating Competition: Do you have what it takes to be a WEENIE WARRIOR? Go head-to-head in this contest of supreme sausage superiority! Last man standing wins. Roll-contest. Winner receives a custom piece of art as their prize.
Cackling Carnie: We’ve traveled far-and-wide to compile our jokes and japery! Azeroth offers inspiration in spades, but now we needs your help: can you make this troupe cackle with a joke of your own? Joke-telling contest judged by our guildies. Winner receives a custom piece of art as their prize.
Tacky Transmog Contest: They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder … but we’re asking you to challenge that notion and show us that you can strut your best in, arguably, your worst! We are asking that people show up in their silliest, goofiest transmogs! Themes encouraged. Make us laugh, tell a story! First, second, and third places will be: 15,000 gold, 10,000 gold, and 5,000 gold respectively. ONLY APPLICABLE FOR MOON GUARD PLAYERS.
Art Raffle: As a show of appreciation for our guests, we will be hosting an art raffle for everyone in attendance! Prizes forthcoming.
