Greetings Thirsty Adventurers!
What is the the Brewfest Benefit Bash?
The Brewfest Benefit Bash is a weekend-long, roleplaying extension to WoW’s Brewfest holiday.
In a world rife with conflict, there are few things that bring folks together as well as good brew, good food, and good company! Brewfest is a celebration of culture, and an excuse to gather with family and friends for a wonderful time. This event aims to extend Brewfest past the existing NPC booths, allowing role-players to be part of the fun, too!
A natural extension of our previous Wyrmrest Accord Brewfest celebrations, and inspired by events such as the World’s Faire Carnival and Tournament of Ages, we aim to provide a fun event for all role-players with the underlying mission to support a great cause:
Once again, we are benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. For more details, please see “Charity Info” below!

Charity Info
This event benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude’s is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Your support helps ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
St. Jude has helped push the childhood cancer survival rate from less than 20% in 1960, to 80% today!
We will be supporting St. Jude through a Tiltify campaign, which means your donation will be handled online through a secure third party. It is in good hands!
Events
As of right now, we have a handful of different events lined up over the span of the Festival. There is plenty of room for more, and we are taking volunteers to staff the events we currently have lined up!
Events range in variety from drinking contests, to drunken ram jousting, to a bonfire, and more!
Test your mettle against other role-players to earn your place in Brewfest history! If you are just looking to participate, we will be offering up all sorts of fantastic prizes such as art, IC-Titles, battle-pets, gold, and more!

Staffing
This is why we’re here!
We are looking for capable, reliable people to help us staff this Festival. Let’s make this year’s Brewfest better than ever, and help make an impact for St. Jude by putting together the best experience we can muster!
If this is something you might be interested in, please join our Discord and reach out to an organizer to see if you would be a good fit! We’d love to have you!
Prize Pool Donations and Sponsors
We love it when people unite for a good cause, but realize that asking for monetary donations might be beyond the means of some of our players. The RP community is composed of some of the most talented and compassionate players Blizzard can boast, so a lot of events like this one thrive off of generous donations of time and effort.
Other ways to help out include donations to our event prize pools. This includes things like art and writing commission slots, gold, battle pets, mounts, toys, and more. We would love to offer more to give out as possible event rewards, and definitely can through the support of our community’s generosity!
Note: Donations are not a requirement to participate in the Fest, nor will they grant any sort of advantage in events.
These types of donations and sponsorships will be clearly tracked through a public spreadsheet, and credited whenever they are utilized within the Fest! If you wish to make a special request as to where your donation goes, you may certainly do so! You may also opt to remain anonymous, in which we will give you an alias to track your donation. Transparency is our goal, because your trust means a lot to us.
If you are interested in donating to the Brewfest Benefit Bash, please reach out to a Fest Organizer via Discord!
F.A.Q.
Q: This is in Dun Morogh, right? Is it safe for Horde to be so close to Ironforge?
A: Yes. We can confirm that horde players of various levels can travel beyond festival grounds without worrying about flagging a guard! There are two bugged mountaineers stuck in the snow in the Northern section of the grounds; however, they are easily avoided (or dispatched) without spawning additional guards. This is one of the reasons we plan to have Festival Security on hand from both factions! As long as you stay within the bounds of the event, you should be safe!
Q: May I attend from any server?
A: Of course! We will have anchors available to pull you onto Moonguard! If you cannot find one immediately, you may request one via the #anchors channel in our Discord!
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: Technically, no! However, we highly recommend you have addons such as Cross RP, Listener, Musician, and TRP3 Extended for a full and stress free experience! Also don’t forget plenty of booze if you wish to compete in competitions, potions of tongues to understand the opposite faction, and inky blackness potions for ambience!
Note: We will do our best to update this thread as more information becomes available! Keep a look-out for updates between now and September!
Disclaimer:
We understand that some minors will be participating in this event. We at the Brewfest Benefit Bash understand that the actual consumption of alcohol has consequences, and we encourage those of you who drink to drink responsibly:
We DO NOT encourage underage drinking.
We DO NOT encourage drinking and driving.
We DO NOT encourage alcoholism or overindulgence.
However, we DO encourage you to stay hydrated!
This is strictly a silly roleplaying event, and not meant to be taken seriously in any regard. Let’s have a good time, and make sure no-one gets hurt in the real world!
