Not sure if this is really that important but I’ve just started tanking in mythic. After the first Gale Burst sometimes Wrathion will cast an extra Searing Breath and then disappear, sometimes he’ll immediately disappear without casting anything.
I haven’t had enough pulls where it happens to be able to tell what it’s based off of, and no guides I can find mention it. It’s not a problem, just something I have to be ready to react quickly to.
Curious if anyone knows if it’s based on anything specific! Thanks
Seems completely random to me, sometimes it happens, most of the time it doesn’t. Have the other tank taunt after 2 stacks even if Gale Blast is coming and it ceases to be a problem.

It seems random, I’ve only seen it twice in all our heroic / mythic clears. Just keep that in mind that it “could” happen, and when you run out don’t run towards your raid group, and have a CD ready if needed.

This. We got five breaths on all four of our full phase ones last night, before the gale blast, and with the pulling tank taunting back, it was fine.
I think maybe Wrathion skips breaths when his target isn’t in melee range, and the breath after the gale blast is usually skipped. If this is correct - and I’m not sure of it - then the breath after the gale blast happens when you don’t run out of the gale blast promptly.
