Mythic+ without a timer

I’d like to run a dungeon on a mythic difficulty of my choosing, and have it behave just like a regular mythic. This means I’d be able to change my loadout mid-dungeon, replace someone who leaves halfway through, etc. I wouldn’t mind if the gear from these dungeons were lower in item level than the gear from the same difficulty in a timed run. If you’re taking your time, that’s one less source of difficulty, so the rewards should reflect that. I just want casual dungeon runs where we’re not in a rush, but regular mythics are too easy with the gear I have. There’s currently no content in the game that scratches that itch.

No thanks, the timer IS the challenge

There’s no timer in raids, yet they’re still challenging. Challenge can come from the enemies’ health and damage output along with mechanics.

i’d like a dungeon that’s like normal but you can fly in it, plus it drops 5 pieces of loot and the bosses all wear fun hats

M+ without a timer would be ideal. Anyone that disagrees simply refuse to accept that Blizzard can simply increase the difficulty. Additionally, they seem to forget that mythic raids don’t have a timer and those are similarly challenging.

Disagree… I want untimed MPlus dungeons as well.

You need to at least double the mechanics in the dungeons atm to reach that level of challenge without a timer.

Well we are already have the stupid afflictions that are the most Melee unfriendly ive seen

I don’t understand why M+ has to be timed. Isn’t it enough that the dungeons are harder?

Idk why people use mythic raid comparison for “timer isn’t the challenge”.

Mythic raid bosses, you have to kill first, to get to other.
Fights last 6-12 minutes.

For m+ without timer, you can easily clear all trash eventually, so only by overbuffing bosses can they make the m+ without timer challenging, and you’d complain how it’s impossible then.

Just take off a couple pieces of gear and BAM!
M0 becomes the challenge you’re craving.

Enrage timers, or mechanics that act as such, are quite literally present in majority of boss fights

No. People could just CC everything and kill mobs one by one, taking 2 hours to finish a dungeon that should be too difficult for them and looting items they shouldn’t be entitled to.

I already think it’s stupid that you can get rewards from dungeons not finished on time.

That doesn’t make it harder necessarily, and that’s bypassed by taking ranged.

It would be like Torghast - maybe its a testing ground for a new m+ in the future :smiling_imp:

That’s M0. You basically want no challenge for free high gear. Like raiding except bosses have bare bone mechanics that pose no danger. This game isn’t for you OP.

Sounds like your not a raider. Bosses do infact have timers…ENRAGE timers that 1 shot the group upon hitting.

And that’s ok that you don’t understand. Why must all content bend the knee to your liking? The community who speedrun M+ love it because the timer+affixes ARE the challenge to them. M0 mechanics are a joke honestly, even Mueh’zala if you do everything correctly. Its basically like complaining “Raid bosses have too many mechanics!!! Remove them so casuals can clear it!!!”…so you want NO challenge at the end of the day, just to casually kill stuff without worry. Wrong game for you, WoW endgame isn’t for you.

You don’t have to beat the timer…
just pretend it doesn’t exist?

Literally what you are asking for is what we already have.

Idk we shouldn’t have enrage timers on raid bosses either, let us handle it at our own pace. Sludgefist should have respawning pillars and Denathrius should have more floor room. I just hate these artificial timers that make bosses artificially hard, artificially.

As long as the group agrees to stay together and take their time, you can do that in m+. Granted your key won’t upgrade, but you can still take your time.
