Question:
Does the weekly chest contains random item from any dungeons or its specific from highest dungeon you have done ?
For example, past 3 weeks of chest, I have been getting loot only from the dungeon which I pushed the highest, for example +15 Siege, so in chest I only get items from Siege or its just coincidence for me, that I got 3 chest in the row, loot from that specific dungeon which I did the highest that week ?

The cache loot can come from any dungeon.
Although it would make WAY more sense if it did work the way you think it does, by only giving you loot from your highest completed key. A way to more pinpoint target the loot you actually want…
Oki, thanks, I was thinking if I should just sit on my +15 Siege in hope to get Azerite armor I need with traits or just push my +16 key of TD
With the goofy system Blizz has set up, it’s always best to push a key as high as you possibly can each week for the TR and AP.
If you were able to target gear, it would lower your monthly play time. This is not good for Activision shareholders. So they will never put something like that in the game.
and instead they will allow the retail playerbase to dwindle into nothing, accompanied by their refusal to address any other big system issues like azerite reforging or character bound essences
so their obsession with MAU numbers will kill the golden goose, another data point showing how modern short sighted shareholders in publicly traded companies ruin everything good
The weekly chest only contains leather waist items as far as I know
My druid has gotten leather waist three times in a row now.
Plate waist is in abundance too. I’ve gotten plate waist at least 4 times since the start of 8.2.
Blizzard doesn’t want to put in a disincentive to run a different dungeon, perhaps with a higher key.
I realize this was over a week ago, but you do know that azerite does not drop from the weekly chest, right? The only way to obtain azerite from M+ is by spending the currency you earn weekly from the chest in which case you want to run as high of a key as possible.
From what I can tell it’s not necessarily your highest key (at least post +10), though it does seem to prefer drops from dungeons you have success run at your highest key for the week (or anything above +10)
