Tried asking in the shaman forums but didn’t get an answer so I’ve decided to ask in here because I ain’t got no clue. For mythic+ progression and higher keys:
Do y’all use farseer with the riptide focus and ancestral buffs for mythic+ (lower AOE, lower mana sink) or totemic chainheals and buffed rain (higher AOE heals, higher mana sink)?
At the highest keys, totemic is used much more often.

play what you love and make it rain.
Any tips on that playstyle’s mana management? I feel like it’s so easy to sink up all your mana (though the playstyle is super fun.)
I am a bit rusty on resto atm. But generally I would suggest letting healing stream totem carry a large weight of the healing.
There are a bunch of talents that buff healing stream. Reactivity, lively totem, supportive imbuements, living stream, elemental resistance.
In most pulls that should allow you to shift to dps some, which will decrease the total healing load needed. Using your kit to interrupt, multiple ae lock downs, should also decrease the healing load.
