- Four wings just like lfr
- each wing offers loot at the end of beating last boss, just like mythics
- five items for 15, 8 items for 25
- same key structure as mythics, but using the new season 4 style numbering. M0 is champion tier, m5 and up is hero tier, 10 and up is mythic tier. Key numbers stagger base item level just like mythic dungeons.
- instead of affixes you simply have the different raid tier mechanisms already in place.
- raid would be timed just like mythic dungeons
- would be repeatable for loot drops
- only available in the 15 or 25 option.
- have to raise your key levels just like current mythic dungeons.
Thoughts? Is this something you would do?
TBH I can’t tell if your idea is satire or actually legit…
This is a terrible idea though if legit. Raiders need their earlier boss loot to carry them to the next boss. Raiders also don’t have affixes (even in SL the fated affixes ended up being jokes). Raids also need their baked in downtime to explain to Timmy for the umpteenth bajillion time that fire is bad while waiting for Johnny to finish hitting his 30th toke of the night while someone lectures the rest of the raid over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again about the signature mechanic that only Timmy and Johnny whose collective IQ barely gets to double digits are the only ones struggling with.
Raids already have difficulty levels that come with additional mechanics in addition to scaling (which is then further scaled by each body in the raid).
TBH I’m 100% on board with mythic+ losing repeatable dungeon drops IF the EOD drop was buffed to be equivalent with the corresponding raid difficulty of the key which matches the vault. If you reach a dungeon level of the next tier, you get loot from that too just like someone raiding say normal and heroic raid bosses within the same week.
I love m+. But I don’t think turning raiding into 25 man m+ is the way.
I do think mythic raiding needs to change to be more accessible, though. But I think as a whole, this isn’t the way.

I like them both as they are at the moment. Not together
raids are the last form of content with horizontal progression.
once this falls, the PvE is dead.
We already have “Mythic+”-style raiding: it’s called the four different difficulties.
The reason raids are not repeatable endlessly for loot is because they generally offer more powerful items and Mythic rewards the highest upgrade track while even the highest Mythic Keystone dungeon level does not.
There’s a reason the Flexible raid option was added in Siege of Orgrimmar then became the rule for Normal and Heroic in the exact same raid tier.
I think folks misunderstood. This would be in addition to regular raiding, not replacing it.
And what problem, exactly, do you “think” this solves?

I would love another thing like M+ (maybe no affixes though, many levels of scaling difficulty is what I love about it), hopefully delves are like a solo version of that.
I would love the ability to do an altered version of raids with a 5-man, but that’s not what you’re suggesting. They could just remove the lockout on raids, but I think they’re not gonna do that due to people selling raid carries (and the gear that drops that the buyer can use if they pay extra).
