Just because everyone has the same access doesn’t mean people should have to put up with it. It’s bad design, its gate keeping and that’s that. I’d love for you to find me even one person who doesn’t use addons and does the highest form of content.

It’s not gatekeeping. Again learn the word’s definition.

It’s not bad design. No one is forcing anyone. If you don’t want to do it find another game.

The more they design around people like you the worse the game becomes. Nothing they do will be challenging enough because the addons are just going to tell you what to do and where to stand when the base UI should just have that information available without the need to set up a bunch of bloatware.

Actually the game has almost died when catering to bad players. The subs have dropped the most the easier the game has been. So the data disproves you.

WoW is stagnant because of mythic raiders and people who push beyond 25+ keys. It will never grow if they keep it so horrendously seasonally based. Oh, but that’s right, all the people who actually enjoyed this game have been told to quit and probably already have. Anyone still playing is just a minority running on that abusive treadmill.
