Mythic Raiding Rewards

Hey guys, do you know that there is an exclusive druid form which drops only in MRAID,
and not just that, for the raid of 20 people it drops 3 items with certainty.
Now if majority of playerbase is not raiding mythic, then why there is 3 visual items drop in the difficulty which 95% of playerbase never plays at, and the answer is Ion’s corruption.
Becuase mythic guilds were selling those for 15kk a piece.
This is absolutely predatory, toxic, game and community destroying game direction.
There is no even recolored version for casual players, so you are FORCED to pay mythic guilds if you want to have that visuals.
Imagine ruining game for 95% of players just to please your friends.
Microsoft if you reading this, its time for a change.

I would propose to community unite and stop buying any runs period,
let cancerous predatory development fool itself, dont be fooled, dont pay those people money.

Add this visual form to the shop, it would be more fair, nobody has to give money to other players. Ion we get it you have friends, find different ways to sponsor them please.

You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain?

raid at the highest level, pay up, or go back for it later at 1% droprate. Welcome to the norm for the past 14 years.

impossible to get into mraiding from scratch, I will rather never play wow again than pay random nobodies money, this is predatory and extremely toxic

I’m pretty sure the going carry price was $200-300 (in tokens). The OP has a point. Blizz could just cut out the middle-man/shady marketplace by just selling mythic raid rewards themselves.

It’s safer for everybody if that’s the way they are going to do things

exactly, because I would consider buying something from shop,
I will NEVER ever consider buying something from carry runs

Sale runs are a protected service now, that’s what the whole services channel is for (and why you buy runs out of services rather than a guy off discord). if they scam you over, there are chat logs blizzard can look at and give you your money back.
The reward is for prestige, sure you can spend $200-$300 in tokens to get it, but most players don’t which lets them have that prestige. been that way since mimirons head, so I should have said 15 years rather than 14, my mistake.

there is no prestige, this is a video game
I guarantee you, most players running aside someone on superOMFdragon #15, not thinking “oh wow”, they dont think about that person at all

I’m 99% sure that isn’t true. I’m fairly positive that, at best, they’ll punish the scammer but not return the gold

But if you’ve seen them say that somewhere, that’d be great.

Yeah, tokens.

I’m going to play the devils advocate here and say that mythic raiders DO deserve exclusive cosmetic rewards. It’s an insane achievement to obtain CE and there should be some special shines for that.

it is unjustified time sink I do not consider that an achivement

if there were no prestige it wouldn’t exist, same for the glad drakes. You might choose to see it as just another timesink, but that’s just you.

It’s more than just a time sink. It’s coordination, communication, and teamwork to an insane degree involving 20+ people.

We can just agree to disagree.

Normally, I would agree…but since they sell it, they remove the exclusivity themselves.

Now it’s exlcusive to mythic raiders and the whales.

Essentially, Blizz selling it changes nothing

Yes you also didnt list, that
20 people in voice, doing prescipted fight against AI (same each time)
while being coordinated by programmed by 50 scripts of weka auras which tells them when to dispell ,move, gtather, stop dps, etc

Is this thread about selling carries, or the mere existence of mythic raid exclusive reward? Those are topics I have two different opinions on.

Easiest way is to let it drop at all levels. LFR>Mythic. Make it for everyone. The 1% of 1% who do mythic can get their titles and different colored gear.

^ this, there must be recolored version for casuals

The OP is suggesting that Blizz should sell mythic rewards themselves, so both topics are relevant
