Is it just me or is mythic raiding seems inaccessible? I mean, I have a full time job and I play the game a s*** ton and even then, I don’t get to see the game in it’s entirety. I got to do some normal raiding, and some Heroic raiding in legion and Warlords. The game seems to be rewarding only players that gives 40-50+ Hours a week on the game by giving them unique mounts and appearances.
Not only they have mounts unique to top 10% players, they’re putting the best looking mounts on the store…
so the 90% that is not doing mythic is left with a paywall.
I don’t think it’s meant to be “accessible”. It should be difficult.
I do think Blizzard needs to find a way to either merge lfr/normal or normal/heroic.
Not sure we need to trudge through 4 degrees of difficulty in order to “progress”.
Most people give up after just 1.

Over 1000 guilds have completely mythic ghuun. Are you implying every single one of those guilds, the players are jobless and raid 50+ hours a week?
Mythic raiding can be done on low raid weekly hours. It just requires you to be good.

I’m by no means a hardcore mythic raider. But I have 4 kids and a 40hr/week job and I managed to start a guild, build a team and progress through normal, heroic, and dabble in mythic. Only raid 2 nights per week, 3hrs per night.
I raid two nights a week and were 3/8. I’m actually a full blown raid logger as of the last month.
Our progress isn’t anywhere in the vicinity of impressive, but it shows you can do it with minimal time investment. You’re just not allowed to suck.
Mythic Difficulty isn’t suppose to be accessible though.
I haven’t done more than heroic raid in multiple expansions now, and I will never touch mythic… props to people who can clear it, but it’s not suppose to be accessible. It’s suppose to be a high mark of skill to clear.
honestly blizzard is out of touch with it’s player base, and the massive amount of people leaving proves it. The average player does not care about mythic content, all we want is something that is a bit of a challenge not a boss that takes, cheesing mechanics & hundreds of wipes to down.

I understand that Mythic raiding is not meant to be accessible in a way, but all the rewards seems to be up there.
I just feel like chasing nothing by doing Heroic.
hopes this clears out something
There was a guild on Zul’Jin that completed mythic antorus on 4 hours a week.
I don’t know what to tell you?

Don’t know what you’re talking about. I raid for 8 hours a week (2 raid nights), and then on Sundays I’ll do my bare minimum island expos and one M+. Beyond that it’s a guess if I’m going to do our guilds off-night Heroic raid, any emmissaries, or even log on. So I’m spending less than 15 hours a week in this game.
Well, right now it’s a little more because I had new War Campaigns, Darkshore, and BE Heritage.
You are wildly misinformed if you think you need to spend 40+ hours a week on this game to be in a mythic guild.
Also, your comment about “they’re putting the best looking mounts on the store” is highly subjective. I don’t think many of the store mounts are great or they’re just reskins. And you can just buy them by buying wow tokens with gold. So, once again, you’re a bit off.
Maybe rethink what you’re saying because if you didn’t acquire gold in Legion and WoD (and were playing them) and you think you need 40+ hours to be in a mythic guild, you’re doing something wrong.

If there wasn’t unique reasons to clear it, a lot of people’s interest in doing so would drop severely.
Unique mounts, titles and whatnot are ways to reward players in a cosmetic way, for completing the hardest of challenges.
There are plenty of cosmetic rewards you can go back and earn from earlier expansions.
Sorry you feel like your left out of having super awesome looking stuff, but at the same time I think those who can dedicate the time and energy to clearing the hardest content, should deserve something unique

There have been mounts from completing Heroic (the bird from Argus AOTC and the Moose from HFC AOTC) so you’re wrong again. Plus there is the Charhound that was on all difficulties in Argus. I believe the same will be with G.M.O.D. will probably be all difficulties while the water elemental will be Mythic only.
Maybe stop ignoring obvious facts that show you’re hyperbolizing or simply just remembering rewards subjectively?
