I want to talk about how bad mythic plus is in general in the war within, There currently is nothing good about it and its the only reason i still play the game is mythic plus as that’s pretty much true for largest portion of the player base.
raiding currently is held too high in value by blizzard and its content most of us only want to see once and be done with it raiding isn’t fun nor is it hard.
which brings me to point 1 “get good” they say mythic raiders. yet none of them outside of 3 guilds ever get CE at the difficulty blizzard intends which is world first raiding.
Now i have some solution that will fix this issue so that people that want to mythic raid can just focus on the content without having to gear to nerf the raid. make mythic raiding have an ilvl cap no higher then 619 which is what full heroic gear is when capped with rune crests. So if your ilvl is higher then 619 say 639 it shrinks for mythic raiding 619 even if your mythic plus ilvl 639 as the example. and this effect should only apply to mythic raiding. so if your in heroic raid you would actually have 639 ilvl.
This way blizzard can just fine tune the raid to exactly that ilvl and if mythic raiders complain bosses are too hard, too bad get good no nerfs leave it at world first level of difficulty and if they kill bosses just give them 50 gold like you do to most mythic plus players and if they can achieve CE then give them a portal that’s it.
And remove all gear rewards from mythic raiding so they can finally see how bad the game is for the rest of us that have the game killed because of the less than 1000 guilds that ever get CE. AND NOTE mythic raiding gets guttered harder then any other content in the game so much so it becomes a joke by the end. (this is how mythic raid should always be heroic ilvl capped with no gear drops and CE reward is a portal and the only time the raid gets nerfs in during race to world first so everyone is forced to have to kill all bosses at that exact same difficulty) and if this kills mythic raiding then it shows that its only kept alive because of gear which is the only reason most people do it anyway. take the gear out of it. it doesn’t need gear, let me solo him achievement doesn’t give anything good and less people will get that then CE so remove mythic raiding gear from now on.
And please stop trying to force us to mythic raid for the best gear its unhealthy remove gear from mythic raiding. if people stop mythic raiding because no gear drops good it deserves to die if it cant stand on its own without forcing you to do it because it drops the best gear when it shouldn’t have any gear drops to it. mythic raiding should be nothing more then a challenge mode that reward a class mog or weapon appearance at best that’s all.

Now for Mythic Plus this is where mythic gear should drop its harder content has way more mechanics going on then mythic raiding and its far more punishing especially if your pugging and now these content creators that all have full teams which takes a huge amount of difficulty out as they have coordinated groups. now its still hard for them at high keys but pugging is whole different can of worms.

The difficulty versus rewards system makes no sense rewards need to be myth track ilvl should at +7 and glided crest need to start at +6 this is at worst this is how it should be. because currently its all difficulty with no rewards which is why this needs to be addresses asap, because like it or not mplus is wow and its being killed because blizzard isn’t fixing it fast enough

aoe stuns and aoe stops in general need to be reverted back to DF and before so casters cant just start casting start away after stops, this is one of the worst things about mplus and playing demo lock where your interrupt is a stun really makes you see how bad this change is.
And I want to make this clear there are groups of mobs in these current seasons dungeons you literally can not pull because you don’t have enough stops and interrupts for these packs to not die and this is a perfect example of clearly bad game design mythic raiding doesn’t have issues like this where certain packs are impossible to pull or everyone dies. my point in just how much more difficult mplus is to mythic raid bosses. -
challengers peril needs to be removed death timer penalties on top of the run backs usually take from 45s to a minute an a half away from your key that’s already brutal enough. too brutal to adding an additional minute and 15 seconds on to the penalty. which is a big reason everyone is quitting the game atm.

this might be the biggest one for years now we have asked for tyran and fort to be removed its the most boring and annoying affixes yet they refuse to remove them. now you might be asking how would we make the keys have some difficulty to them then?
Easy solution here drop timers down not sure how much depends on the length of dungeons but you could remove 10 minutes from them to add difficulty. or if you wont remove these hated affixes drop the % of both by half what they are now per key. 5 minute boss fights are just the worst they need to go i mean some are like 7 minutes fights like spires last boss ( i know this is an old dungeon I’m using this as an example of how long these boring long fights have been around I mean I could of gone as far back as to bfa but whatever SL is good enough.) like dungeons shouldn’t have super long boss fights.

more gear needs to drop from dungeons because you will literally go 20 dungeons with no drops then get 2 drops and then another 10 without anything. the time investment needs to be way more rewarding for everyone.

the new kiss curse affixes lets be real i don’t hate them but you really only notice the curse side of them, the kiss side of the affixes are super bad like Brann is in delves why do we have them when they do nothing.

all the current dungeons suck this season is the worst rotation of dungeons blizzard has ever done and even worse all the TWW dungeons in general are bad. like they look amazing in design but as dungeons they all actually suck. and I use to love Siege, Mists and NW but the changes to these dungeons suck like Siege the artillery that you could use on adds was such a sweet mechanic and because of world first raider, mdi and content creators you have taken cool mechanics out of dungeons like how the chains originally work in DF nelth killing a whole dungeon with them it was so much fun. or all the weapons you had in NW all gutted because of certain people that cant handle 1 out of 8 dungeons having a fun mechanic that isn’t pressing your dps buttons bring these type of mechanics back like the canons in Tol Dagor. let us blow up half the dungeon.

this is my biggest issue personally outside of rewards from keys being way too low and horrible. The outgoing damaging in general needs to be tuned way down by a good 80% and I’m talking about the unavoidable damage in dungeons is so much and its not real difficulty for 4 of the 5 players but effects everyone because the healers complained too much about not healing (NOW THE COMPLAIN ITS TOO HARD TO HEAL) and ruined the keys for everyone they should just be low dps that heal sometimes not the whole dungeon. 100% of players feel this nothing worse then not being able to outplay 90% of damage in keys because its all unavoidable and we don’t have the defensives to keep up with the damage output. i want skill back in the way of being able to avoid all damage pretty much. outside of a little/a few must heal moments but these should be rare.

ill end with this one crests dropping at the end of dungeons needs to be buffed you kill one 5 minute raid boss you get 10 crests but you do a 30 minute dungeon and only get 12 this is dumb they need to buff this to atleast 15. I think keys should give you like 30 crest per timed since they take so long, doing 8 keys to cap weekly crests too many to cap. so if an upgrade per key timed and if you don’t time it you should still get like 10 getting only 5 is way too much of a punishment. especially with a depleted key on top and usually no gear drops.

LASTLY also change gear in general if i kill a heroic raid boss my gear shouldn’t be dropping at 613 ilvl just to force me into using crests, drop it at 626 like it should. getting gear that drops at incomplete ilvls just to force this crest system genuinely horrible game design if I’m doing a mythic plus 10 i should be getting a myth piece that drops at 639 or you want to force upgrades. plus 7 drops myth track 626 that’s where using crests should come in. weekly vaults suck and time gating gear is dumb most of us just want to play keys without being gated by gear. and more important in a seasonal game gear should never be time gated we have to replace it anyway in less then a few months so i don’t want 3 of those months getting bis pieces just to less then a month left in the season to play my toons at full power this is just bad game design doing this to players. i want to be done gearing in a 2 week to 3 week period max without having to be full degen.
