Mythic raid

Who came up with the idea of not allowing people who have already been in Mythic to enter again? It’s unfair to players who play with random players.

What?

Are you talking about the lockout?

Yes Yeap Ye

Mythic isn’t designed for playing in random groups. It’s designed as hard organized content.

Not in mythic.

If you join a group that’s 3 bosses dead you can’t leave and join another group to kill the first two bosses.

Well yea no kidding, cuz you’ll be saved to their raid with those bosses killed, so dont join a raid with bosses already killed ?

You can’t get into Mythic at all. Not even for the next bosses. Those who say that Mythic isn’t meant for playing with random players just can’t handle playing such content with random players. I wish they would remove these ridiculous restrictions from Mythic.

you cant join a raid with a new or conflicting id once you are saved

heroic for example. kill gnarlroot. you can join a fresh group and kill gnarlroot again for no loot, or join a group at igira and progress forward.

mythic you can’t do this. kill gnarlroot, and you are locked out of mythic unless you form a group and save others with a fresh id to your id; or reform with members who share your id.

Yea i know i raided mythic and heroic before ,back when i raided heroic we had a lockout, i think

ah ok

ill just leave my post as info in case anyone joins who doesnt understand how they work

That is incorrect. Mythic teams rotate people all the time.

I just couldn’t get into the raid for the second boss after the first one was killed with another raid.

Only time when your getting on next bosses if when they hit a wall and people start to leave

You can’t get into a second lock out after you’re saved to the first one.

Incorrect.

Most mythic teams rotate people especially on reclears.

Example this tier I was rotated out for our first gnarlroot kill but I was in for the first igirra kill. I was in for the first nyume kill and sat for the first Larry kill.

Good teams rotate people.

The guild i was in we only pretty much had a core team, same people every all week, cleared got curve in 2 week after release in most raids, and then mythic

This is the original raid system.

Vanilla raids operated this way.

I played in the Vanilla reboot. I play WoW from Lich. Initially, you couldn’t get in, but it always let you in on unbitten bosses. Right now, it’s a block for the entire raid at once, even if only the first boss is killed.

right. once you kill a boss (or enter a raid in which a boss has been killed) you are locked to that raid id. you can only raid that raid id for the rest of the week.

you cannot mix/match mythic with different groups

this is a good thing. the content is not designed for unorganized pug groups.
