And What, pray tell, do you need the gear for if all you do is heroic? Almost like it dont matter if they have what they want
But there is a disparity between how much a mythic raider/high key pusher is rewarded vs anyone below them ⌠This comes in the form of max ilevel and gilded crests upgrades. Mythic track is the only track that gives players 6 upgrades with the crests they get from the content they run.
Every other upgrade track only allows for 4 upgrades for the content they run before they need crests from higher content. Or in other words, if all players stay in their lanes, the mythic raider/high key pusher will get the most rewards out of anyone.
Personally, I donât think this is good design. Not because people shouldnât be rewarded for running the hardest content ⌠But if you have a choice to better reward a group of players, itâs probably best to reward the group that has more people in it.
/10characters
I dont think it would be that bad if they just made Gilded drop from +7âs instead of 9+. There are 2.8 million characters doing 7+ and only 560k unique characters doing 10+. I couldnt isolate 9+ from raider IO.
Its a cyclical problem that hasnt been addressed at all. If you are not 618ish with 2250+ M+ score it is very tough to get into random groups who are 9âs (in my experience as a dps who is 614 and 2160). If you dont mythic raid you do not have access to myth track at 623. This leaves you with runed stone upgrades (which have a weekly cap) until 619 where it starts to require gildedâŚthe same gilded you cant earn unless you are doing 8/8 Heroic and get 30 each week.
TLDR: In order to find a job you must have experience, but you cant get experience without a job.
A lot of people want bis rewards for doing easy content.
Yes this is normally what we call progression, when you clear more content of a higher difficulty you get better rewards because youâve progressed further in the game. This work as incentives too hence why lower level of content doesnât reward the same thing. They want you to go beyond to get those rewards.
So we should give the best rewards to people doing world quests? No I donât think that would make sense and I strongly disagree with that. This isnât a majority rule but a video game it is made a certain way because it wants you to play a certain way. If you could get the same level of rewards as quick from easier content then you wouldnât want to push higher and you would probably end up playing less as many people are reward driven.
Smells like low quality bait.
yet another âI canât/wonât do it so blizz must delete itâ thread
classic
The envy and toxic casual attitudes are ridiculous. Everyone wants BIS for logging in.
You either start pushing early, or you slog your way up the ranks (time a 5 on all dungeonsâŚthen 6âŚthen 7âŚetc). People just arenât putting in the work, and think they deserve to be invited to groups and get carried.
Raider raid because they love raiding.
I dunno whatâs worse. OPâs take or the weird, consistent insinuation that 1 ilvl = 1% increase.
Whats happening isnt progression , its stagnation.
âthose guys progressed further and got better loot! thats stagnant, right?â
man i wish blizzard would let me hand out clown awards
More like weekly timegating, itâs been a thing for a while. Have you heard about raid lockouts? xd Okay okay Iâm not funny I get it.
So its not stagnation for people under mythic? Do you have a comprehension disability?
Nono you have it all wrong. Progression = giving BIS to everyone for logging in so everyone feels good for 10 minutes. Then nobody has to feel bad in rainbow sunshine bunny land.
Christ you normies are so good damn entitled.
The ilv difference is fine, get over yourselves.
If youâre not pushing mythic content, wth does it matter the difference between your gear and mythic raid gear is.
No more than it is stagnation for there not being a difficulty above mythic. What a ridiculous stance.
Raid lockouts limit the gear you have access to for drops. Gilded however allow you to upgrade current gear you equip. These are not equivalent.
