I have an idea on how to make transmog gear more interesting, let mythic raid gear be dyed to the other levels color scheme. Many times I’ve done an old raid for the updated model of mythic level gear but preferred the color scheme of heroic/normal/LFR, I think a cool idea would be to allow mythic raiders to change the colors while also keeping the updated model. It would be locked to mythic raiders for the 2 years the current Xpac is live and only unlock for the rest of the players when we can run it in the next Xpac. That way it keeps the gear models exclusive to cutting edge players during the Xpac but not forever so the rest of us can eventually get the same thing.
Man… if the Tomb Of Sargeras warrior set wasn’t a bright slime green color I would never transmog anything else.
I think a dye system of any kind at this point would probably be pretty hard to implement.

+1 for dye
hard to implement, how so? do you mean if we got to make our own custom color schemes? because if so I totally agree, that’s a way more complex thing to implement than what im suggesting. They already have the color schemes coded and in the game (heroic, normal,LFR) they would just need a way to transfer those colors onto the updated mythic models
Yeah I was referring to a full dye system. Yeah I guess just letting you pick what mythic tint you wanted wouldn’t be that hard.
