If is not your key, then why quit??
To begin with this is a game to enjoy and have fun, besides, is not like your rating would be affected. In my opinion, if I apply for an invitation and get accepted, then is my responsibility to help that group to beat the timer and get as much rating as possible. Sometimes, the group might not beat the timer because the group underperformed, but I don’t consider that to be my problem as longest I know did everything I could to help that group. Here is my problem, Quitters
If you are going to quit and leave that group hanging because things not going your way, then don’t apply and accept the invite. Moral of the story is you volunteer to be in that group, then you stay until the end.
Blizzard, needs to start penalizing those who quit Mythics, just like in Dungeons. Seriously, at least a 30 minutes time out.
Sick of seen players putting their trust in a random group thinking they are going to get help getting through the Mythic + just for some players to quit whenever they feel like because is not their key.
Seriously Blizzard, start penalizing.
When I sign up I have expectations of the group.
I didn’t “volunteer” to carry players who can’t use anything outside their basic DPS rotation, and even then still do terrible damage.
There’s a surprising amount of these players that make it past the 10 range.
They absolutely should, just as soon as they set a minimum requirement for performance and start punishing players for ruining groups with misplay.
so you’re saying they should ban all M+ carries and force players to do key ranks in order.
makes sense.
do you list the key as completion ? its important to make sure you gather like minds with like goals. when these things clash too hard its going to cause problems.
hope it helps
You answered your own question.
I left two keys last week.

I died to a pack which wiped the group and then I committed more cooldowns to it the second time with the same result. And in bdk if you can’t keep momentum it’s hard to recover. It seemed like we would complete the dungeon in the amount of time I had to play so I left after saying gg.

Had a really smooth NW and my son got sick in his bed so I told the group my son puked while I hearted. Said gg.
Well, if I apply and my invitation got accepted then I do my best to help that group. If they invite me is because they believe I got what it takes to help them. Not always happens, sometimes group does not meet their goal. But, I am ok knowing did everything I could to help them.
