Since we’re holding mythic players hostage in dungeons even when they don’t want to be there, could we also consider suspending players with low DPS and no interrupts?
Let’s just make it straight forward and suspend everyone.

Do that and people will take their subscription and go somewhere else. Also consider that there are a lot more of those players than there are players who have mastered the game. Without their subscriptions you wouldn’t have a game to play.

With how much M+ participation has dropped this season it seems people are already doing that to avoid draconian punishments.

I’ve left keys where we back to back wiped on a difficult pack and last week when my son threw up in his bed. Both keys I explained why I was leaving and left.
Nobody is holding you hostage. Bad keys are bad keys and you can leave without repercussion.
Blizzard is only banning people who are literally doing it with malicious intent. For that to be corroborated. There will have to be some form of paper trail like outright harassment in group chat or whispers and what not. All of which gets noted on reports.
I’ve seen countless people get their papers and chats pulled out in the ban forums that it’s almost laughable watching a new thread appear claiming they are free of guilt and fault. Only for them to get the book, pictures and a recording of them being outright toxic.
I’m going to assume this is going to be the same with these cases.
Why are you complaining about content you don’t play?
Why should I be punished when the person who is not kicking and doing tank level damage is the problem?
