Mythic+ pugging is excruciating due to leavers

No if i’m griefing i would do NO dps, not low DPS.

Noone intentionally does low dps.

So what you’re saying is that… I’ll just need 2 friends to hop in my key, invite 2 players, start the dungeon, kick them both, vote to end. Rinse and repeat? No black marks for me or my mates, but plenty for whoever I decide to not only get them screwed out of doing keys, but also potentially out of their vault reward?

I’m sure no one in the entire game will think of this. Nope, none at all.

Dude, your system isn’t a bad one, I’m simply saying that it’s the greater of the two evils and that’s it. Particularly since you’re tying vault rewards into the mix as well.

Interesting. What was here previously also prevented it though… as the group who did the kicking still didn’t get the piece. I’ll have a look to see where they said this was changing though, cause I’m pretty sure it hasn’t changed. Not to mention the fact, that you could also now abuse someone simply by kicking them so they get screwed out of loot anyway.

If there’s a system that punishes leavers and afkers, they would intentionally do low dps to not be considered afk.

If someone is auto-attacking throughout a dungeon pulling 300 dps… I’d put that alongside intentional griefing…

Yes if you and 2 other sociopaths decided to do that and ruin your key, you definitely could. Congrats?

Need i remind you that right now any ONE person can ruin a key run for FOUR other people and it would take THREE jerks to give TWO people a 15 minute debuff?

If you’re really concerned about that we can simply limit the amount of times you can participate in a vote to abandon per week. Then simply not apply deserter at all if you’re alone when the key is started to let people drop keys.

I don’t see anything about that in the patch notes

But I admit I just skimmed it.

I don’t think they’ve changed it.

Having a vote to abandon that doesn’t lower the key, is actually a really good idea.

Noone does that. There is no meter that tracks how often you do damage, then automatically removes you. This isn’t PVP. If someone is griefing they do no damage. No one wastes their time following you and auto attacking everything.

I swear you guys are recruiting your group members from the psyche ward of your local prisons.

It defeats the entire point of key pushing. Oh we aren’t going to time it, lets call a vote and restart.

Wrong. One person to ruin a key for ONE person. Only the key holder gets screwed, no one else. And you can literally immediately queue again.

Again, you’re the greater of two evils here. You give way too much power to the key holder.

Feel free to try it yourself.

They will when you force them to stay. I just don’t understand why you’d want to play with these people. Let them go. You’ll be much happier.

No the other people there are also screwed. They traveled there, they “hopefully” took a flask and ate food. If they’re melee dps they probably spent 40 minutes trying to get a group. Everyone loses when someone leaves for petty reasons.

No they won’t. You would simply kick them. Problem solved.

How do you always find yourself on the minority side of an argument and still think you are right. There are plenty of reasons to give up on a key.

Really? I haven’t been in LFR for quite awhile… but plenty of people did that in the past? I’ll admit I was a bit hyperbolic…

But if the group is doing 5k dps each overall… and one dps is doing 1k dps… that’s a problem. Whether you like it or not. Particularly if it looks like you’re not going to time (and the purpose of the group is to time). And yes I’ve had plenty of people who do 1k dps in keys… (and no… I haven’t left them).

It wouldn’t solve anything in your system. When the other 4 people can’t finish the dungeon, they’re getting a debuff through no fault of their own.

Because these forums represent a tiny but vocal minority of which 70-90% (depending on day of the week) are trolls? You aren’t the majority of anything, not even this thread really. Its 4 of you posting over and over.

I’ve never seen 1k DPS in a high key. I don’t know if that’s even possible. I have seen it in raids though

Those same things apply in reverse. The difference being the bait comes to the sociopath, as opposed to the sociopath having to pray to be selected by the bait.

I don’t even need a +15 key… I’d just say I have a +15 key, then do it with my +2 key.

Too easy to game, sorry.
