It’s not an alt, in this forum it’s sadly my main, because I can’t post with an EU character here. But I’ll never understand the obsession with the level of a character in these forums.
I’m a Mythic raider myself - not quite on CE level anymore, but I know the community and keep contact with several guilds and officers. I’ve never seen a Mythic raider in my life who plays with the mindset “I’m just doing it for the mount lol”. Every Mythic raider I know does it for the challenge and competition. You’ll hardly find raiders with proper CE experience who throw a tantrum because others will have the chance of getting the mount. At least in the forums, where most complaints are going on, I’m not witnessing any outrage from the CE community.
Thank you for taking this feedback. It’s much better to make things fair for all as the first manuscript was for everyone. It made us think it would always be a thing is why and frankly got our hopes up because these are great skins. Keep up this transparency with us it’s very nice.
I mean yeah, but trying to convince the general forums of this is a impossible task as they need someone to be the boogeyman for the poor downtrodden casuals.
You and many others continue to miss the point entirely.
The issue wasn’t with mythic raiders getting something shiny. They almost always do, and almost no one ever complains, because it is to be expected. However, Blizzard set a precedent with the first raid skin in Dragonflight, so many players were expecting it to be handled the same way in Abberus and it was a fair assumption to make.
I do feel, however, that there should have been something else that was mythic only, like a mount which can be used anywhere. You know, like usual. That is surprisingly lacking this time around, though I’m sure that many raid groups will make out on this deal through selling quick carries later on.
Now, I don’t know if Blizzard backtracked on it, or it simply wasn’t listed for all difficulty levels when it should have been, but they apparently got enough feedback which forced them to send a CM here to make a quick statement. People like yourself are turning this into something it was never about to begin with.
Has always been like this. Jaina and Sylvanas for instance behaved the same (and why they got boosted to the max because the encounters became trivial the following tier). As long as an xpac isnt over mythic end bosses will always drop their mount regardless of their respective season being over.
So it’s only heroic raid that is affected by the end of season AOTC cut off?
Only if there is an mount tied to a curve achiv. There isnt one tied to the current one. And for shadowlands im certain jailer dropped his curve mount all the way til dragonflight even with curve removed after S3.
Is this change the same as the prior Raz skin? Or even lower than that?
Open the raid up. We’ll see. You’re fixated on the irrelevant, purely theoretical assumption instead of the point that there is a barrier to entry probably because you feel personally called out. Quite pathetic since you’ve obviously have seen my comment clarifying that but you still can’t get past your emotions.
I don’t feel called out. I just know how good most WoW players are. They aren’t ready for mythic.
