Mythic N’zoth is no broken after 11.5 I have been soloing Mythic Nzoth since the launch of TWW and as of the 11.5 patch which was suppose to make bosses easier to solo this boss is not broken. It no longer spawns the add you need to kill in phase 2 that drops N’zoths Immunity shield allowing you to take him down to 50-60% that you repeat this phase again killing the add removing N’zoths immune shield taking him to 30%. The add never spawns and neither do the tenticles during the “underneath” phase.

Confirming that I’m seeing this as well. I didn’t appear to phase properly to see Psychus and his adds, though it did appear he was casting spells. I was able to see Deathwing and his spell as well during the phase.

Thanks for posting. I’ve never done the Mythic version before so I only spent 1k gold trying to crack the code on beating it.
Turns out Blizzy cracked the code themselves.

Can confirm. I have been soloing him every week on 7 different toons. They said the patch would make it easier and now it can’t be soloed. I don’t expect them to reply or fix it, but hopefully this will save people time and know not to bother.

Hey there,
My brother and I were running through Mythic N’Zoth just now and while we thought it impossible to complete due to the bug, we discovered that Psychus is there and still takes damage but is invisible. Bring someone with AOE capabilities when you go through the Mind Gate, get close to N’Zoth, and then spam AOE spells until Psychus is dead. Rinse, repeat and complete as per usual.

This does work although the second time down it took me about 5 minutes to finally manage to kill Psychus and continue to the last phase.

it works…but if he starts casting manifest madness you gotta wait like 5 minutes or so before you can do any damage…so try to kill fast…spec into any aoe you can get

This ! I just finished the quest for the skip. Killed Carapace no issue. But N’Zoth fight is broken.
I stepped into the portal to kill Psychus but its not there.

Posting to confirm, Nzoth is broken. Seems like we just aren’t phasing into the “downstairs” area correctly, so Psychus and the tentacles don’t appear.

Here’s a workaround for the invisible things in the N’zoth and Kel’thuzad fights.
Enable mouse-over casting in options and then target their unit frame from the right side of the screen - the encounter frames. Shows all the important NPCs like Psychus and KT’s ghost.
Have been able to clear them that way.
Haven’t tried on melee but I am sure it works since the NPC is there but invisible and untargetable as long as they get in melee. Also, if you have another NPC targeted it seems to not work so try targeting yourself or kill the trash and ensure you have no active target.

It is there; as Sutkhada said above, you can easily take him out with AOE since he’s there but invisible. He’ll try to kill you at melee range so spam AOE until he dies. If you’re melee, you can even go close to N’zoth and attack him; while N’zoth won’t take much damage due to his shield, you can use your AOE attacks on him to ‘splash’ damage Psychus at point blank range.
Alternatively, Bisko has a great idea (I haven’t checked this one yet) but if you can target their unit frame from the right side of the screen that’ll solve the issue too until they fix this bug.
So yes, the encounter is broken, but the workaround isn’t difficult while we wait for a fix.

I tried doing aoe damage. I did kill the Psychus but I didn’t survive the second phase.

I too can confirm the fight is borked currently.
the portal that phases you to see [Psychus] and the [Exposed Synapse] does not seem to be phasing you correctly.
so you can’t physically see or target [Psychus] or [Exposed Synapse] allowing you to progress the fight.

Can’t see or target anyone once I take the portal down. Psychus is on the boss raid frame, but I can’t find it or attack it.
Fight can not be soloed.
