Mythic+ not in a good place

May as well remove mechanics from dungeon mobs at that point if you’re going to give the tank enough tools to handle all of them.

We only played like 3 hrs/wk in season 3 and were doing 18s. Casual does not mean bad

As a healer who has healed up to +8 so far this season, the only time a +2 felt like a +17 was when the entire group completely ignored mechanics. I have even gone into them with 470 characters and we’ve been able to time them.

Then one would argue if they’re failing then they “can’t” do them. lol. The only major difference now is that you don’t have people bricking folks +12-15 keys because they got artificially carried through the 2-10 range by crest farmers.

Not necessarily you, but plenty players on these here forums used to complain about lack of wyrm crests source for casuals. Are they the same type of players trying +2 now cause “lower keystone number, must mean easy!”, and are getting a wake up call?

Probably a very small amount of players like that. Theres a reason they flat out removed 2-9 and made m0 10, they were the lowest %of key runs (there was a bump at 7)

No, they just become things the tank has to handle, they also can just add hard dps checks at points so dps cant just coast by

Nah, i prefer responsibility get spread out, i play classes with a lot of utility for that reason

It does remove the primary skill check for high keys — coordination. That would be a bummer.

I believe it counts heroic and M0 dungeons. It says I have done 37 “0+ keystones”, and I’ve only done 17 actual keys on that character. For this to be somewhat correct, then M0, heroics and TW dungeons must have counted.

If they do this for VDH couldn’t it potentially cause problems for groups that don’t have a VDH? Maybe instead of balancing the game around one broken spec they could…balance the spec?

They want all tanks to be as broken as vdh.

No thanks from me. Tanks are already ridiculous as it is in most PvE group content. VDH just needs to be brought back down to earth a bit.

Maybe it is. Despite the fact that a lot of people are delusional about things in life they are invested in, I think it’s safe to assume that in general the ultimate result is the intended result. Unfortunately, when the results of changes turns out to be different from what seems was anticipated, Blizzard has a history of doubling down, as though doing more of the same will provide the desired results.

Lockouts gate learning hard.

I think this is a hilarious recommendation, considering that EVERYONE who follows it religiously would be doing maybe 2 keys a week. Do your key, succeed, do it again while getting carried by better players if you can get them to join your group.

They say a lot of things. Their actions in game design since WoD in increasing reliance on mythic+ as end game more than suggest this claim is completely false.

Seems like the purpose may have been to dramatically increase the rate of failure while at the same time decreasing the option to practice more. Thus catering to players who think that the majority of players should fail and fail hard on an indefinite basis, and this would be good for the game.

What do you think this is, an MMORPG? Making friends at lower levels means you will be making friends with players who will be a bad influence on you and your progress.

I have not bothered to do mythic plus yet. Previously everything below 15 was a joke, so unless they have massively increased the difficulty I doubt it’s harder.

I don’t feel it’s particularly hard under 20(10now)

Normal RLP last night. Every character in the dungeon is on a class that has heals. The healer is clearly struggling. No one heals themselves. Everyone dies but me. I end up finishing off the boss by myself on a 370 tank.

There’s your future.

Tanks shines mostly in aoe, ST target is generally really low. If you nerf aoe, you make aoe pulls impossible.

I mean giving tank stats back, and they dont have to do massive dmg to hold threat, threat is honestly is too easy right now as well

Except for at least blood dk that depends on damage dealt to heal.
