Maybe just maybe people don’t want to group with you because you come off as an ahole.

Because i was targeted from someone saying i use the wrong rotations in combat when i use the right ones. I use advice from higher item level players than me on my gear and rotations. But sometimes you need to improvise talents that wowhead simply can’t update or fix. Or better yet maybe its just on there for new class users because no veteran uses that far as i seen.

Afflicted it just horrible!

Anyways. +2’ed a 22 WCM with DHx2, Warlock, Hunter.

this is a situation where the healer can and should decide to let the other party members who can handle it, handle it. same as with the octopus head guy in throne. dispels need to be used in that fight, not saved for afflicted.

communicate with the group. tell them “yo I need to save dispels for X, you’ll need to get all the afflicted that pop up”.

This is correct, 100% totally true.

If a player is “bad” this week it’s a learn to play issue, I don’t know how else to put it nicely and I’m really not trying to sound like a jerk. The group needs to have a somewhat decent composition, which is fine since it illustrates more personal and group responsibility.

All wowhead gives is some information from a theorycrafter, go to another website with a different theorycrafter and you may find different results. This goes for sims, bis gear, talents, and everything else. It’s just people who, hopefully, know what they are talking about.

Overcoming a challenge as a team is fun

If you fail it due to this then yes. We have timers for both so we know when they are going to overlap. Pre planning accordingly makes this moot. Not to mention you can do just heal the afflicted with a single global

I really do think this is one of the biggest issues with wow players today, they don’t really want a challenge. They just wanna faceroll everything. I thoroughly enjoy a challenge and figuring stuff out on our own.

I really only notice this mentality in pug world players to be honest. Mythic raid guilds do not share this mentality

I’m currently playing rdruid and really curious what single global heal you’re using to fully heal an afflicted. I thankfully haven’t had to even try to heal one more than once or twice this week, but it certainly wasn’t a single global. But I’m relatively new to rdruid, so I’d love to know.

As a disc priest, this week is a joke. M+ is easier than it’s ever been.

M+ is super easy this season. Raging is easy as well. Use your stuns early, you know exactly when they won’t be effective.

I’ll have to try that again. I’ve used them before and watched one cast his little heart out, but it didn’t top it off until I threw on a regrowth and swiftmend. Perhaps I was too impatient. For the most part I don’t have to heal them at all, but I’ll experiment later and see how it goes.

M+ is tuned super lenient this season. If you find a dungeon challenging, don’t be afraid to pull more conservatively. Not dawdle between pulls, of course, but you don’t have to do big spicy pulls to time keys. Playing clean and doing manageable pulls will get you there.

This week is just terrible for pugs. Afflicted and Incorporeal generally going off is way too much penalizing versus other affixes, they could easily nerf those going off by 50 to 80% and it would still feel bad to miss them.

Solution is to stack at least 3 dispell class for Afflicted but it still feel bad when one is stuck in a wall or underground.

Afflicted shouldn’t “kill you” before a +24-25 as you don’t need to actually dispell a lot before that, doesn’t mean it doesn’t feel terrible to get a -100% haste debuff.
