I’d like to share some feedback regarding the Mythic Mugzee encounter. At the moment, the fight appears to be heavily reliant on having a Protection Paladin in the group. The current strategy more or less mandates it, and as far as we can tell, there has only been one successful kill without a Prot Paladin in the comp.
While it’s understandable that top 200 world guilds may adopt extreme optimizations, it feels a bit much for a top 500 guild to be forced into the same. We’d really appreciate it if you could take a look and consider tuning the fight so that a Protection Paladin isn’t effectively required.
I have a question about the raid on Heroic difficulty.
During Phase 2, we already assigned a separate group to handle the shared damage mechanic.
But we’re still encountering a situation where both the wall and the rocket target the same person at the same time.
(In this case, the wall targeted someone without the debuff.)
How are we supposed to deal with this? At that moment, we had no choice but to wipe and reset.
Is this really just RNG, or is there a reliable way to handle it?
As robo said, your walls were too close together. There should be space on the far side of each jail for the people who already have the debuff. Then everyone either in jail soaking rocket, in jail avoiding rocket, out jail avoiding rocket, or under boss soaking rocket.
The soaking rocket is larger than the jail, so it’s hard to do it that way.
Our strategy is to have a group without the debuff go outside to soak the damage,
but the jail targeted someone without the debuff, which caused problems.
its absurd the amount of reliance a group needs of prot paladins for this fight on mythic after this many weeks, you’d think they would’ve done something about it by now
