Mythic + Loot

I’ve ran 4-5 keys this week so far.

To be honest, not sure if I even want to waste my time in them anymore given the my loot experience this first week. Nothing says this isn’t worth it more than cringing through an instance only to be provided 35 anima and perhaps a conduit at the end. 35 anima…really? I can get much more than that doing world quest in the same amount of time. Conduits are fine, however all the conduits I received were not even related to my loot specialization, that there is a problem on it’s own.

I think the loot tables and drop rates need to be addressed in keystones. Perhaps it was just a bad string of luck, but to run 4 (nearly 2 hours of my game time) and not even get one piece of gear related to my loot spec, is quite concerning. It just seems like forced content to maximize a weekly loot out of the “Great Vault” which I hope doesn’t present similar disappointing results as the chest have at the end of each run.

Then don’t. Blizzard needs to learn the hard (i.e. financial) way that these M+ changes are a disaster. Dungeon difficulty is more broken than ever (zero lessons learned from BFA complains over 2 years) and rewards have been gutted simultaneously.

We can all just go back to WOD design, which was truly great. You’re a DPS player ? Go raid . You’re a tank/healer players ? Go find another game to play so you don’t fal asleep raiding.

Of course. Did you really think that the blizzcon speeches were for the benefit of the players or the beancounters/shareholders ? Now we see the truth, or earlier if you had beta access like myself.

We’re all playing raid or die world of weekly chests now.

If you timed all 4 there is a 13% chance of not getting loot in any of them. That’s bad luck, but it’s not really all that unexpected to see that from time to time.

If you didn’t time them, there is over a 40% chance of not getting loot from 4 in a row. If those are odds you don’t like, then an RNG based reward game is probably not for you.
