I would like to see loot drop for everyone in mythic dungeon keys, but no tradables, and above a 20+ key a higher chance to get bonus stats / sockets.
Maybe +2 or +3 chesting a key would add an upgrade level to the item instead of dropping more loot.
I don’t see a downfall to this and I believe it would make keys much more enjoyable knowing you could get that piece you’re farming for without having to armor type stack or hope someone more lucky than you is willing to trade.
Also gives people who don’t endlessly key spam a feeling of satisfaction to do a couple dungeons here and there.
I do agree with this but you only raid 1-2 twice a week, the rest of the time you should be doing dungeons anyway, A lot of people can’t keep up with the amount of keys you need to do to get decent gear.
this would be pretty great, especially if you’re all socketed out & don’t have an upgrade in the vault. being able to grab an “avoidance token” and slap that on an item would be nice.
The only system I want to see added for M+ would impact raid drops too and is more centered towards the vault. I would like to see the vault prioritize pieces of gear with the lowest ilvl. Nothing feels better than having maxed out tier set only to get another chest/legs/helm/hands.
In the end though the majority of people are farming weekly vaults to get the super maxed gear so I don’t see why being able to farm dungeons for that perfect piece is an issue, it allows casuals to keep their ilvl up and hardcores the ability to get their bis set up, but even still closes the gear gap between someone with 100 hours a week to play and someone with 15 hours
Ah I miss titanforging. It may have been a slim chance in hell to get something decent titanforged, but it at least kept you on your toes when you opened the chest end of dungeon.
But then again I also hated it with a passion, such conflicting feelings.
It’s actually pretty similar to the “bonus valor” incentive that was added to get people to boost people through low keys but scales better to higher keys and would be more effective.
