I’ve now done 2 +2’s – 3 +5’s - 2 +6’s and a +7 — I’VE RECEIVED NOTHING BUT 35 ANIMA -Blizzard, what is your problem?
I agree. If they are going to give us nothing but Anima, they could at least give us more than 35 Anima for Mythic+ and Raiding.
If you’ve timed all 8 of those, there is less than a 2% chance of going 8 dungeons in a row without getting anything at all, which means you’ve been very unlucky, or you aren’t counting pieces you won and didn’t want.
If you didn’t time any of them, there is about a 17% chance of going 8 dungeons in a row without getting anything, so that would mean you’ve been a bit unlucky, but not catastrophically so.
If some were timed and some not, then you have a percentage chance between 2-17% of having that happen, which is part of the normal statistical outcome. Sometimes you’ll go 8 in a row with nothing, and sometimes you’ll get something in every dungeon for a streak. Your sample size of 8 isn’t significant enough at these percentages to indicate anything more than you’re on the down side right now.
I didn’t get pieces I didn’t want… I LITERALLY DIDN’T GET PIECES – I’ve time 5 of them…
Sorry but the developers have decreed that dungeons are not difficult so they don’t deserve meaningful loot.
We are back to raid or die now. I hope you aren’t tanking the raid because your greatest challenge will be staying awake.
Legion to SL = 1 step forward, 100 steps back
I think I’ll take a 6 month break and (if the world and game are still functioning after 6 months) see the financial repercussions of blizzard’s terrible design decisions in M+.
Thanks classic for ruining retail.
That means the percentage chance of this happening is about 4%. It’s clear you’re in a dry spell, but your experience is balancing the person who got something in their last 4 keys. With enough repetitions you’ll end up going on a good streak. You just have to ride it out.
I think it’s universally agreed that 35 Anima is hilariously insulting. Either baseline 100, or something like 15 per key level.
I mean: it’s laws of probability. You have a 1 out of 5 chance of getting a piece of loot.
If you’re running this with 5 guild members: every single person in the guild is going to get a piece of loot. If you want 10 pieces of loot you have to run at least 50 dungeons. If you do 3-5 dungeons a night it’ll take you less than 2 weeks to be at iLvl 200 if you include Great Vault, raid, and PvP items.
I’m already at iLvl 194 and I’ve done like 12 dungeons already. Just keep doing it. Timing dungeons doesn’t mean anything right now… you want to grind +7-9 dungeons for the gear and worry about pumping +10s for IO score later.
I had to run some normal/heroic dungeons 20+ times to get a piece of loot I wanted. Farming M+ is the same thing.
If you wanna talk dry spell, I have been playing since launch day, chaining heroics nightly since then. (granted i went a bit slower with leveling and didn’t cap until near the weekend or on the weekend, ish) I have yet to climb above 170ilevel; current 166.
most people would respond with
“oh go figure you don’t get a drop every single boss in a dungeon suck it up”
(or so i have experienced in this regard)
well yes, its not that I expect a drop every fight. or every dungeon for that matter. but… going on 2 weeks of dungeon grinding to still be under 170 is rough, the people who i started with are pushing into the mid 180s.
feelsbad, but life goes on, gotta stay on that grind lol
But doesn’t gear feel more rewarding now?
/s
the dude is literally wearing 3 pieces of gear from M+
He’s salty because he didn’t get a weapon or shield drop yet
lol I seen that after the post I made. #feelsbad
but in any case lol the loot is very scarce for some this expansion.
I won’t lie it does feel good when you get a piece. it’s just disheartening to see the people that you helped through heroics early on, are now pushing into M+ keys, while you’re still struggling to get gear to even get accepted into M0s lol, wont stop me from playing and grinding though
