Which is better for a Essence break-Momentum build.
CA or BW?

So the general consensus this on keys less than 15-16s you generally would take CA since you would not have enough time to apply BW. Furthermore on Tyrannical weeks if there isnât any affixes that buff the trash e.g bolstering then itâs also fine to take CA since trash is going to die quicker.
However in my experience, BW has a lot more sustained damage for cleave. On fortified itâs almost always BW since the goal is to apply it on all targets for the next immo aura.
I see a lot of both honestly, I myself though have used BW on all of my keys so I may not speak for the rest who might slot in CA.
My problem is that i find myself focusing on trying to spread the BW dot around and then start slacking on other abilities and rotation.
CA also has the big benefit of giving you a lot more survivability, that fel dev heals for a lot and can keep you alive in a sketchy pull.
I like CA for the uncapped burst aoe and survivability.
So firstly assuming that you are using the essence break momentum build, on your opener you can proceed with a immo aura + fel rush & eyebeam hunt as anyone would normally do, when you then vengeful retreat and essence break you can then tab target all targets with the essence break debuff and apply burning wounds! Then for your next immo aura you can get the damage benefits, note you only do this ONCE, you never need to look to consistently re-apply unless the group is still around 70-80% hp some how.
Now if youâre using demons bite, honestly I am not sure what youâd do from that perspective but Iâd imagine its likely the same thing but making sure you arenât fury capped.
