Has anyone else got Mythic keystone drops in Delves?
My friend and I did a bountiful delve last night and as part of the rewards, we both got a Mythic 2 keystone and a quest to do a mythic.
What the heck? Delves are touted as being for solo players and now they are pushing content I never want to do? At least I could destroy the quest item, but the stupid keystone can’t be destroyed and is taking up a bag slot.
I really hope the next delve doesn’t try to push that quest on me again, it will get old fast.

You know keeping it in your quest log and just not doing it is an option, right? That way you’ll 100% not get the quest again.

I know but I shouldn’t have to be dealing with this at all.
Done mythics with my guild when it was active. Didn’t like them. Too busy, too chaotic and frustrating to my ADD brain.
It is the keystone that annoys me. I need that bag slot.

It is but Blizzard shouldn’t be trying to throw incentives in the first place persuading Delvers to run keys. I don’t see Blizzard incentivizing M+ players to kill the first boss in mythic raiding after clearing a +10, I’d be less annoyed by this change if they were consistent.
Also yeah, in addition to taking up a bag slot at that.

If people saw my bags, they’d likely have conniptions. At most I might have 20 slots free at one time, I don’t even bother to loot in TBC time walking dungeons. Lol

I’d like to believe that it’s a patch day bug.

I was a mess when it comes to inventory management(Ugh, one of the worse parts about the game lol.) Last week I deleted quest items I never knew I had in addition to other stuff. Gear I just put in the bank so when S3 comes I can catalyze it free of charge, especially the lower track stuff.
I will laugh so hard if it is.

It’s an odd bit of dissonance.
First, they claim overgeared delvers were causing problems by crashing keys.
Then they buffed our rewards so we’d stop, which I guess worked too well.
Now they’re offering even more rewards to incentivize overgeared delvers to crash keys again.
Definitely mixed messages.

Blizzard needs to stop trying to shove players into M+.
It’s a horrible mode filled with the worst people.

It’s already incentivized but even worse they wave they vault around want you to kill 3
Because I tried it, instantly hated it.
I’d rather use 1000 grain sandpaper as a washcloth than try M+ ever again.

So what is the reward for completing the quest? I mean, the vault already offers incentives to do all 3 types of content by giving you additional options and higher difficulties increases reward quality…so what are they offering on top of that?
How dare blizzard do this to you. It’s a slap in the face! I would completely understand if you unsubscribed from the game due to this.

15 Gilded and 15 Runed.
The vault is obvious, I’m talking about getting a quest to directly kill the first M+ boss after clearing a 10. If there’s an incentive already, then what was the point of adding this to delves lol?
Like Althalas brought up, delvers were the source of causing issues last season in keys according to Blizzard but now they’re wanting them to go back into it again? A bit puzzling if you ask me.

Yea, I’ll pass on the mythic. Thanks blizz, but no thanks. I’m perfectly happy with solo content. No one freaks out if I hit a wrong button.

As an avid M+ player myself, the last thing the game mode needs is more Delve players.
Not that I mean offense to anyone, the timers are stricter and DPS rotations are a must. It’s either 640 ilvl or you’re looking at a just-barely timed key. Factor in the DPS disparity between just 2-4 ilvls and some of these runs are painful as all get out.
If they’re going to try to bribe Delvers into M+ the least they could do is unsquash M+. As it stands, you’re either 640 ilvl with a solid DPS rotation, or you’re a detriment to the group. Bringing back the old +2 as a literal +2 would fix that right up.
