Mythic Jaina Final Phase

Yes, yes, they got WF. Grats to them!

But serious question. Does anyone know what’s going on with the final phase of that fight? The transition specifically. Break down a wall and go bust Nathanos out of ice? Wtf is the point in breaking out Nathanos? Better yet, what’s he even doing there, and how did he get frozen right there? Did he do anything after busting him out?

I googled real quick and couldn’t find anything specific.

Breaking him out stops the creeping ice. As for the final phase and elemental, the intended strat could have been to kill the elemental before starting the final phase but we don’t know because Method never killed the split elementals that happens in mythic and just went with the zerg strat.

How does Nathanos stop creeping ice though?

Or is it just a “do this mechanic because mechanic”?

He’s just there, I don’t think blizzard cares that much about the in game lore making much sense now lol. Him stopping the ice is just for the mechanics of the boss, and of course players need an important lore npc to help them kill any kind of powerful boss.

that’s a heroic/normal/probably LFR mechanic btw

Not even a secret phase or secret boss, blizzard’s budget cuts clearly showing

It will get nerfed now so the rest of the mythic community can complete it as usual

Oh. My bad. I thought I read there was a “mythic only” phase and figured that was it. Whoops!

I wish we could just like…Leave him frozen there.

Maybe let Jaina finish him?

Grats to Method, I was hoping they would win. Limit look like a joke now.

Lol that’s what I’m trying to understand. Wtf is he even doing there?? Did he just hop off a boat and get frozen? Useless. So, we bust him out and Jaina’s creeping ice just magically stops?

Need some logic here!

You do know there is typically only 1 or 2 mythic only phase or boss per expansion right?

Every raid people expect a secret phase and they are always disappointed.
