Mythic+ is the best its ever been

This is coming from a tank perspective. I’ve never had this much fun with M+. The way it always gives crests, whose power depends on the difficulty I completed, feels like my time is respected even when I don’t win anything. The crest system is well integrated. I also like how dungeons are rotated from previous expansions, and while sure I’m not a big fan of Freehold, it switches things up season by season enough that it won’t get boring.

Lastly, I really like not having a seasonal affix. Seasonal affixes for me are very hit or miss, but when they miss, they miss HARD. I’ve been driven to quit for the season altogether just because the affix was intolerable. I’m much happier letting dungeon rotations be the thing that makes each season feel different instead of the seasonal affix.

Actually, I agree.

They should remove/rework Afflicted, but all the rest is fun and engaging. The upgrade system really works well with M+.

Loving it so far, some rough healer checks that could need addressing to increase the health of the healer pug population but I have really warmed up to the new affixes.

As you said the healer checks need to be tuned down. I’m 440 spamming my keys on a 20 Tyrancial halls of infusion no lust 3rd boss because we had to use on frog so we didn’t wipe and it’s insane. We timed it but it was close, it should not ever be a mechanic that a dot takes away half ur parties HP every 4 seconds. thats just insane and thats literally what the dmg is + the 3 mechanics which are easy not to get hit by but they all require moving which sucks for casting heals…

that being said, after I get a couple dungeons done I don’t bother applying to any more keys as a healer, I have to work twice as hard for the same reward? no thanks ill jump on my dps and just do world content until blizzard fix

When people succeed at something, why do they want nerfs to make it faceroll? You already timed it. Why should it be easier? How many key levels should Blizzard freely grant you? (so that content is of the same difficulty.)

To turn the game into more attrition and less twitch healing, 4x health pools, and reduce healing done by 50%.

I told you why, because im working 4 times as hard and if i’m going to be carrying the entire dungeon on my back I should get more rewards. Why should I have to sweat and glue my eyes to the screen so I can flash heal a dps the nano second they take damage so we don’t wipe when all the dps are doing is tunneling dpsing.

yeah nah, just because good players can do something doesn’t mean something isn’t overtuned. If that was the case skarn wouldn’t be getting a nerf right now. using your logic all nerfs to all bosses aren’t needed if people have completed it. nah lol im good ill be on my dps as groups are waiting for a healer.

Just how tanking is its own reward.

3rd boss of halls of infusion is pretty chill cause it’s predictable damage.

My only real gripe with M+ is the same it’s always been – low drops, and the blood sacrifice it takes to get something good in the vault from such a huge loot pool.

Yeah crests were cool for the first month but now I have almost 40 aspect crests and 20 wyrms crests just sitting here.

Why are these not account wide…

if me doing 160 K hps is the norm for healers in order to have chill gameplay to you this only goes to testify how little you know about healing, nobody wants to be doing 160 k hps in order to beat a boss. Also just because the damage is predictable doesn’t mean it isn’t over tuned. You can see a car is going to run you over and just becaue you can predict it, it doesn’t mean you aren’t going to get ran over.

if half the parties HP disappearing after every 4 seconds sounds like fun to you then you should heal it, obviously you are the minority since all of us actual healers are off on our dps specs

I do heal lol… And the third boss is the closest thing we have to resource management healing.

so all the healers not being in lfg is just a figment of everyone’s imagination, okay bud lol nah you are right and 90% of the healers are wrong for not wanting to play this week

Highly doubt it’s 90%. Afflicted is a blessing compared to Explosive.

we do but the problem is it being a requirment to pump out 160k hps in order to time, and if you mess up one little heal its a wipe where a dps can ease up on dpsing and it doesnt matter. again have fun waiting in group for a healer lol

im using generic numbers im not a blizzard employee, the point is there is an obvious dip of healers right now in lfg if you look at 20+ keys its all tanks and dps’s waiting for a healer.

Do higher keys, and you can run out of time for lack of dps.

(Curse you, 20 Neltharus.) Specced into a damage based healing build because timer was so tight.

Considering I’ve healed every key and raid I’ve done in DF I don’t have to wait for one :slight_smile:
