Mythic+ is really easy to get in to, most people are just too lazy to try

I see lots of talk on this subreddit about people struggling to get involved in Mythic+ content. I think all this discussion about M+ is incredibly overblown. The solution to all problems with Mythic Plus are presented to the player, however people choose not to participate in these solutions.

The solutions are:

  1. Join a guild (easiest way to find like-minded people and join Mythic + together. In my guild we regularly allow undergeared players or low io players into our higher keys because we enjoy playing with eachother)
  2. Run your own key (be the master of your own destiny, run your own key and choose who you want in your party in the party finder tool)
  3. Learn how to Tank/Heal (tanks and healers can get into 1-17 keys pretty easily even with mediocre IO as long as they are geared)
  4. Join a community discord for new players learning M+ (these are everywhere and are regularly posted on this subreddit)

If you do not choose these solutions than I think you should play a single player game or stick to world content and LFR-type activities.

I acknowledge there are “out of game” issues that create obstacles for people joining Mythic+ content, such as individuals who experience strong anxiety. However, I think this can be better alleviated by seeking outside of the game assistance for mental health rather than waiting for a magical solution from the community. In addition, there are many discords available for newer/anxious M+ players. Also, remember its just a video game, if you are experiencing large amounts of anxiety due to video games i strongly encourage you to seek out a mental health professional first, as this will help you far more.

I think Mythic+ is incredibly easy to hop into, any arguments saying otherwise are typically lazy DPS who do not want to put in the effort to find like minded players to run with.

Mythic + is not enjoyable to a huge portion of people. Not enjoying mythic + doesn’t mean they should have to play a single player game. If anything Blizz should just make raid loot upgradeable

Or some people just don’t give a crap anymore.

So over scores, pugging them for science and running with regular people.

It’s not fun anymore.

It’s almost like this isn’t copypasta.

I am not talking about people who do not like it. I notice many individuals complain they do like it, but cant find groups that will accept them etc.

If you do not lke M+ there are many other avenues in WoW to enjoy, such as PVP or raiding.

how did I not see this

Subreddit/forum, sorry i am very active on the WoW subreddit, i can get mixed up!

You have exceptional paragraph form. This could be the stupidest position I’ve ever seen on the WoW forums - if you don’t like M+, seek professional help.

More like there are exactly 2 other avenues to having any kind of meaningful gear progression which is exactly raiding and PvP. Sure there are “many” things to do but exactly 0 of those things lead to any kind of meaningful progression and, in fact, wasting time doing them puts you more and more behind the curve against the players who are doing them and obtaining more gear, score, and experience making your own lack thereof all the more damning and apparent

Trying to run keys on my alt has been a nightmare because the quality player at those levels is atrocious. Looking at IO doesn’t help because most of the people signing up are not high IO players. I’m almost 2200 on my shaman which is nothing special but I can’t get invited to 10/11 on my alt warrior even though I’m perfectly capable.

Perhaps I came across incorrectly, i meant no offense. If you do not enjoy WoW M+, that is different, i cannot make you enjoy something. I was referring to individuals who complain about not finding a group.

Additionally, Mental health is a serious thing, and I was recommending people to seek professional help as needed, as it has helped me greatly since i was younger.

I apologze if i came across abrasive in my response

I think the best time for players wanting to try to get into mythics is like right at the beginning of a season. That’s when everybody is new and learning stuff and that’s the time players should feel most bold to try it out.

Starting out when everybody knows the dungeons pretty much can make it a bit more intimidating.

I am going to be one those people tho, you can make your own group. Listing a mythic 0 is simple and people will join ya.

All 4 of your steps require more than just basic level communication with another player in this community. So that’s a no go.

People are just upset cuz their 390 geared character isn’t getting invited to 18s.

Apology accepted  I was about to delete my post because this is again going to degenerate into the usual discussion. It still will, but I won’t be a part of it. Carry on, and may you have many bright and thoughtful responses.

This is a common sentiment, but i encourage you to give it a shot.

WoW has many players, I have met many friends just talking in the game and adding people to friends list or joining a guild. This is what makes MMORPG’s so special, i can understand if this is not something you want to do, but please know not everyone in the community is all bad!

All true, all likely to garner shade though… lmao

For some people, anxiety plays a role, too. I, for instance, avoid high-pressure situations like the plague. I didn’t used to, but the community can be really toxic these days if someone goofs up, even in a guild.

Nah, I hardcore raided for years and years - back when the game had community. Now priority is life - career - exercise - house stuff - dog - family - laundry - wow
