Welcome back to the continuing saga of Blizzard support not doing a thing about this issue.
I started documenting this bug 4 weeks ago and, as stated before, will continue to do so until this gets fixed.
Mythic Gul’dan is bugged. You spawn into his battle arena with him already in his hamster ball, unattackable, the fight forever locked.
Things I’ve done:
- Killed every boss
- Zoned out and back in
- Zoned out and waited 30 mins
- Zoned out and waited several days
- Resetting all instances
- Drew demonic circles with chalk around my gaming setup in the hopes that at least Satan himself would fix what Blizzard seems unable to.
Nothing works.
Blizzard, for the love of god, fix this.
Move in and drop an AoE on him. I’ve successfully killed him four weeks running without issue.
Note that repeatedly posting about the same issue can run afoul of the forum CoC, per the section Creating Duplicate Threads. More threads, and even more replies, doesn’t alter QA’s process at all beyond slowing it down as they’re required to read everything that comes through (even if it’s pointless, like duplicate threads).
Asterchades is right. Get inside the bubble and use any sort of AOE you have available, I triggered him on my hunter by dropping a tar trap under him.
Had the same issue as a warrior. Used Heroic Throw on him and that triggered the fight to start. Was the only way for me to reach him.
