Mythic Geared rolling NEED IN LFR

I wasn’t disagreeing with your point, I was reinforcing it. Personal loot is a terrible system

You might have plenty if you are accustomed to playing every week of the season, but every drop you get not requiring the Catalyst is 1 less charge, or 1 less week of the season, that is required to collect a set. Perhaps some of us like to meet their goals for the season and then take a break to do the touching of grass that all the young kids constantly recommend. But you do you.

I’m sorry – did those mythic geared players not contribute greatly to the run (for the most part, yes, there are always a minority of players who for whatever reason don’t; shouldn’t judge everyone based on that)? As such, they also deserve the loot, even if it’s for mog purposes because mog is forever; gear isn’t.

And they were both on the receiving end of the same consequences. They were whined about on the forums.

I pass on stuff i dont need all the time, unfortunately most people dont.

Oh, I never roll on things I don’t need.

Me too of the systems let me roll need I will roll need. Is funny watching people complain on chat and i suddenly type in Spanish

It never gets old how people react lol.

I do too, unless it’s LFR mog I want.
The colour tints of a lot of LFR through the years looks better than mythic tint, and getting the achievement item that lets you use mythic/pvp elite particle effects on LFR/normal/heroic is real nice.

Once next patch/xpac is out no one will be running those or Q’ing up so people def in a rush to complete LFR sets.

My default mindset going into LFR is never expect anything.

I’m not sure what you’re getting at here with the veiled insult. My point is that once we get to 10.2.5, we get a charge a week. Each character’s charges are separate and they add up over time, you don’t lose them. So if you’re going for transmog and get back to your characters in the next patch, each one will have charges saved up for transmogs.

Need roll for crystals. Have you seen the market these days?

I roll need in looking for raid, because I am spending my valuable time to clear it for the transmogs. I do not care if your alt doesn’t get gear or if it is your main source of gear, because you don’t do other content or higher content.

The transmog option is only there for people who are willing to pass on loot. But the need option is still there if you are not willing to pass on it and want the appearance. I actually think it’s stupid that I can’t roll on the same item on a lower difficulty level. How are we supposed to collect appearances when we are just forced to carry noobs all day? Who always need the gear.

I think blizzard should give lower level transmog appearances if you collect the higher level item. Maybe that would solve your issues with mythic players taking LFR loot

Catalyst charges are limited and if you want to set right now you can’t get it so LF R is the only way.

1 thing to note about this. I’ve noticed that if you haven’t brought a character up to a certain point in the expac, the charges never start accruing in the first place. I got annoyed by that for the previous charges last season.

I was in a normal raid last night and needed on a one hand sword that’s bis for one of my builds. I won it and left as that was the only boss I hadn’t cleared for the week.

The tank whispered me- “why you steal a tank weapon then leave? You’re not even dw.” I told him it was BiS for BoS and called him a clown and told him to suck it up.

It doesn’t matter what difficulty, if you contribute to the kill and you’re allowed to roll need, you’ve earned the same chance as everyone else on the item. It’s really that simple.

Yes. The time before transmog. Lots of us were here before then. But if transmog had been an option at the time, people would’ve been rolling need on stuff just the same as now.

I tend to inspect people that use the same gear I will be rolling on before we start. Not worth doing the run if there are too many who will definitely need it. I’ll take the gamble if they’re geared, maybe they won’t need for transmog, I guess.

That sounds like a recipe for how to never start a run

They participated in the kill. If you want to absolutely prevent players from rolling need, they just won’t queue, your wait times are gonna be longer, your kills longer, your wipes more numerous, to end up having people need on “your” items anyway.

That is interesting to me. I definitely do inspect folks in LFR or pug groups, but it’s usually because I notice how awesome their dps/hps is and they’re the same class/spec as me and I want to see what they may be doing differently/better than I am. I won’t say I’ve never inspected someone’s gear in relation to loot going out, but I can’t recall the last time I did.
