Mythic Garrosh cannot be solo'd anymore - always turns me into a sha

Farming garrosh shoulders weekly, on my lvl 50 paladin whos had NO PROBLEMS killing him before - now after tuesday patch he cannot kill him. At the 3rd phase where Garrosh becomes half-sha, he ALWAYS changes me into a sha and instant kills me no matter what. Im not sure if scaling is messed up or my character got weaker but this needs to be addressed.

It’s been a few hours (so perhaps a fix has been deployed) but I encountered no such issue with a level 70. It was business as usual; though no phase required more than a single hit.

Oh good, glad to know it’s not just me. I run it with four toons and noticed a significant difference between last week and this week for two of them.

As the person above said, my 70 warrior steamrolled all the phases by one shotting them and my 62 dk dang near one shot his phases. The other two toons were where it got interesting. I had no problems running them through Garrosh last week. It may have taken longer than the first two, but I did get through without problems. This week I noticed that in each of Garrosh’s phases, he gained a significant amount of health in each phase that he didn’t have last week. Thus it caused the fight to drag on longer than normal for both my 50 paladin and my 53 dk and getting to mechanics I hadn’t gotten to before, like the one turning me into a Sha.

So I’m not sure if this is intended or just an unintentional bug from getting ready for the pandaland event. Kinda like we had with the channels getting turned on in all tabs with plunderstorm. I hope it’s the latter and not the former.

He def has more hp, took longer to kill even on my 61 alts as well.

It gets even weirder. When I found this thread, I had gone in on my 62 and happened to glance at my chat. Saw it had said the instance lock will expire in 21 hrs instead of the 4 days it should have been. So I looked at my SavedInstances and noticed that all my heroic and mythic lockouts that I did yesterday were gone.

For whatever reason SoO is acting like it has a daily lockout rather than the weekly it should have.

This was quite deliberate back when it was current. Due to the nature of how hitpoint values were stored (a signed, 32-bit fixed-point value) he couldn’t have as much health as they wanted him to - so he’d just regenerate chunks of health for each phase. Phase 2 would heal by 100%, phase 3 by 25%, and the Mythic-only (formerly Heroic-only) phase back to 100% again.

Looks like it’s currently using 100%, 30%, and 60% respectively. I’m not sure how these compare to a week ago.

I’m taken to believe these values were reduced over time, but there appears to be some kind of reversion to Mists content since 10.2.7 (note the way rares spawn on the Timeless Isle) so he could be back to his original values - deliberately or otherwise.

It was fairly easy on a 50 dk and pally. obviously anything higher than that was good but i couldnt beat him on a level 45 i kept getting turned into sha as well. Apparently you need his health at 1 before that phase.
