Hey all returning player from MOP and i mostly pvp and do the normal raids and such. But looking to progress in different parts of the game. Obviously because i havent done a mythic dungeon yet i dont have a key to start my own group. Are there other ways to get a key for mythic? As a crappy dps i dont expect most people to accept me into their group but ive had 0 accepts in 2 months and would like to get started
You can get a starter key from the Panda NPC in Dornogal: Lindormi - NPC - World of Warcraft 
. She’s in the portal room directly above the great vault (bank) icon on your map. However, you could consider running some Mythic+0s first to learn the dungeons and get some gear, which don’t require a key.
Have you considered doing some delves to catch up? Delves seem to tend to drop a good amount of trinkets as well, and I noticed you’re wearing outdated PvP trinkets.
You could also consider crafting a neck piece which is also outdated, there’s a pretty straightforward way to craft it and other gear to fill in gear gaps: Get EASY Catch-Up 629 Gear FAST! | WoW The War Within: Undermined Guide
You get your first key either by running with someone else’s key OR by doing a straight Mythic - not Mythic+ - also called M0.
You don’t need a key to enter an M0, and there is no time limit, so people are less likely to be picky about M0 groups.
So look for Mythic groups to get a start
There is an addon called Premade Groups Filter that filters out certain types and levels of groups, that might saveyou from looking through so meny to find an M0 or an M+2.
Do do everything you can, like Delves, to upgrade your gear first. It’s hard enough to get a start without a M+ record, so gear is very important.
(BTW, I didn’t think Lindormi just hands out keys to people who don’t already have one.)
Yeah that npc is only if u lost a previous key. Ive had to research it. Ty for the tips. I do delves and normal raid. 638 gear for pve i have both trinkets as well

I have no idea why I didn’t say this before, because I always do, but the best way to get your feet on the bottom rungs of the ladder is to join a community. (A guild as well, but a community generally comes with fewer strings.)

Thank you vm. With yesterdays tips i was able to find a group and do a mythic 0. Lots of deaths and lord knows i dont remember the names of any of the dungeons but it was a great time. What is the difference between mythic 0 and the key for a mythic +2 that ot gave me?
M+2 will be about 10% (or 20%? I forget aboit that first one) harder than an M0. And if you do it within specifiecd times, you get double or triple loot at the end, and your key may be increased by 2 or 3 levels.
