maybe if they added secondary stuff like gemslots or something that you can get by running m+ or another optional way id be fine. id def wouldnt bother running stuff for a 12 unless i was forced by direct gear upgrades tho. maybe more crest gains?
im also of the 10 and done crowd. we did some 11s and +2 em but like. that +12 affix is scary.
could see that as a reward for more casual gameplay. i very much doubt +10 players will push to 12s for something only they can see heh
weapon enchants could be cool.
rated pvp has had a chokehold on cool weapon illusions for as long as i can remember. would be cool if they added something for timing all +12s or something.
I can never make sense of these arguments to make the game easier because people are burning out.
How about they stop no-lifing the game and spending 8 hours a night grinding the same content for months on end?
Get a life. Get a hobby. Do something other than play WoW for 8 hours a night. If you’re burned out, the adult thing to do is take a break from the game and go live, not beg devs to nerf content that lots of people can already do easily.
You literally can’t play alts because of how much grinding for valorstone and crests. 90 crests for crafted gears is too much. You would want to log out when you see 0/1170 crests. I prefer to watch the paint dry than do 130-150 dungeons for gilded crests. The progression needs a lot of change.
I’ve been playing tank since Legion, tank busters need nerfs because some tank busters happen way too often. 1st boss in City of Threads does tank buster every 13 seconds and you die without the cooldown. The tank doesn’t have enough cooldowns for every tank buster from 1st boss in City of Threads. Disc Priest is a bandaid for the game design issues (tank busters). Tank busters probably should be the number 1 priority for overall nerf to damage.
Won’t happen, they want you struggling to find a healer and tank that have devoted their lives to the game so that you have more in-game time, and it will be further reinforced by the no-life git-gudders that only have WoW as a pride point in their life. Sorry man. M+ is a get with the program or get out in-game mechanic.
Folks when you arguing here remember that you come from “let us improve game perspective” and half (if not all) gatekeepers here come from “I am better t han plebs and want to exclude them from reward and everything else” perspective.
Be mindful. Game difficulty (and maximu rewards) absolutely should be lower for majority of playerbase and more accessible.
If they just handed out raid loot to everyone in vanilla, the game would have sucked. Your argument is terrible and defeats the point of having varying difficulties in a video game.
It is pretty basic: do harder content, get better rewards. And that’s how games should work.
Do you make the extreme difficulty in a game doable by everyone?
When making multiple difficulties you tune them so it caters to different group of people and different experiences.
The direct answer to that question is “we don’t know” you’d have to ask Blizzard.
But there is definitely a skill level needed which they tune it for and since they’ve done it for a long time I guess the numbers are fine to them.
Ideally, gear and the “difficulty slider” that is mythic should never be a barrier for experiencing at least all story content.
Blizz has at least done a good job with providing access to the story content for non serious players.
Rewind back even to expansions before LFR for example came in. Massive portions of the playerbase never ever experienced Ragnaros. Or any of the raids at all because of the high barriers of entry that existed at those times.
your average social / casual didn’t have time to grind up for dungeon sets just to get into entry level raiding. without that, you never ever saw the endgame stories or content and it was a crappy experience.
Imagine playing Wrath and never ever being able to face the LK and get resolution to that story until MoP and you could go back and solo ICC?
Alsl players should have pathways to at least experience story content for every current expansion in some way.
