Mythic Dungeon Loot

I really think they need to consider changing M+ loot to the need/greed system in raiding. Too many people just leave the dungeon now without opening chests or trading to those that need. The gear is limited, so it should be rolled on.

I couldn’t disagree more.

In organized groups players redistribute their loot. Personal loot in dungeons actually helps them by allowing stacking to target items.

In unorganized groups players can reasonably roll on everything possible, making your chances of getting items the same as before.

I don’t see how it would help, especially in dungeons where there’s a very good chance if personal loot were changed that the chest contain an item nobody can use, like a bow with no hunter in the group.

No if I get a piece of loot it’s mine unless I want to trade it. Most of the time I’m willing to trade just be chill when you ask simple stuff .

Good luck other mail wearers ever getting into any of my keys LOL

You’d need ~8 or 9 people to fill all items that drop in group loot, so that’s gonna be a no.

Fr if I’m going with friends in a m+ we are loot stacking to get the piece they want or a better chance and they are doing the same for us like neck pieces etc. you don’t get that with a pug

They should change the system, let us make our own dungeon choices keys other than NPC. people always do to kill a keys wipe many time ruin other keys make it more M+

why in the world do i live like this?

yeah mythic dungeon people alway run away loot without asking

If I’m doing a rando heroic or normal I don’t loot at all it all goes to mailbox

Group loot is bad for dungeons since everything can drop, but can only bring 5 players, but for at least queued content it would be nice to have an option to auto roll out loot, if I decide I dont need it. But it could work for m+ and m0 as well.

So it would pop up for the others and they could roll on it, if I decide I dont need it.

This would be personal loot still and you still could not forfeit items which are ilvl upgrade to you, but it would give an easy and fast option to roll out loot you do not need and which you would vendor otherwise.

Yes, its the same behavior that people started doing in pug raids and LFR under personal loot, because it avoids 20% of the group whispering them every time they get a drop.

Now, personally, as long as those people don’t throw a fit if the answer is “no”, I never minded it. But some people hate it. Fair enough I guess.

As for the actual topic – God no. If anything, revert Raiding back to Personal Loot.

I don’t care about the math. I care about the sheer greed of the modern playerbase. Losing an RNG roll to the system is infintely preferable to seeing the guy in full Myth Track making the active choice to Need Roll on generic Hero gear to vendor or for transmog or whatever. 2010 WoW’s playerbase would be retching.

I’ll leave it at that, since things have swung so far that there’s no point in arguing my stance on that beyond stating it.
