Looking for some help to rationalize the jump in ilvl in Mythic dungeons.
Heroic dungeons (equivalent to Mythic 0 in previous seasons) rewards ilvl 558.
Mythic 0 (equivalent to previous seasons M +10) rewards ilvl 567.
Why is there only a 9 ilvl increase in 10 mythic levels?
Mythic 0 (equivalent to previous seasons M +10) rewards ilvl 567. Mythic 2 (equivalent to previous M +12) rewards ilvl 597. Why does this now have a 30 ilvl difference.
Why the inconsistency? Why the massive gap? Why not something more gradual? What’s the rationale here?
Good question! Im my humble opinion. I think that they are just doing it for the first season of TWW. So players don’t feel like doing normal raids is irrelevant. At S2, I hope they bring back the m0 ilvl to normal raid equivalent.
Because players that absolutely whine and moan about the timer in M+ now have can run Heroic and M0 with better rewards than previously and … no timer! At least that was Blizzard’s explanation.
M0 was identified as utilized by players for a few weeks and then abandoned; many players that hate the pressure of the timer would refuse to venture into +2s, so they squished the range and bumped difficulty/reward for Heroic and M0.
