Mythic+ - drops with gem sockets?

Some items drop with the gem socket and some dont, do all items have chance to have gem socket or not?

I have been running ML over and over hoping i can get feet with the gem and just wondering if i am wasting my time…

All items have complete RNG to have sockets.
This includes all gear from all sources; weekly, dungeon completion, boss drops.

You can buy sockets for 25,000 momentos from Horrific Visions.

It’s not that many if you run 2 or so a week.

There’s plenty of guides and addons that can help maximise your momentos per run. I think the max you can get per run sits within the 5000 range but not entirely sure.

Dratnos did do the maths on it too in a YouTube video of his.

As per the guide, anywhere from 4700-5200 for a full 5 Mask clear grabbing every crystal and chest.

You get about 4000-4300 for a 4 mask, I’ve done both zones 5 mask solo but I find 4 my sweet spot for effort/reward
