I keep joining groups that have 2 characters being piloted by 1 person in mythic+. They effectively do nothing, I’ve started to just leave these groups once I realize whats happening. You should not be able to join a mythic+ instance with 2 characters on the same pc, surely there is a way to detect this.

Say what? Like one person playing two at once and boosting ppl?
Are they good at what they do?
So leave? If you join a key a key and no one told you before it started that one person is being carried, walk out, you didn’t sign up for that.

Yeah, if you join a key and there’s a DPS not DPSing or just dying and staying dead, totally in your right to just leave.
I know I totally would if I wasn’t being given a cut of the payment.
the problem is this has happened 4 times in the last 2 days and I’ve only run a few keys each day
That is strange, I timed 77 keys and completed a few others over time and have never once encountered a surprise-carry. Though I also never interacted with the booster groups and usually just report all of them.

This is a casual way of dismissing the OPs claims based on your anecdotal experiences. I get so tired of these comments from the forum regulars.
It is a sly way of defending a system that has a lot of problems.

OP claimed it was ridiculously common through anecdotal experiences.
If it was as common as OP claimed then it’s a huge issue that needs to be fixed now.
If it’s an extremely rare issue that is easy to avoid…that makes it much much less of a priority

No doubt it is. But it’s really hard to play two characters on separate computers at the same time at all, let alone well.
Probably. But I still like to put my point out, even if that specific person doesn’t see it.

Even on the same. I RaF myself for a mount, was a pain just doing basic pickup quests.

I agree it’s not worth the effort and you’d have to have two subs.
And then you risk getting all that wasted with the very mount you did it for ends up on the trading post.
