Anyone know what Wowhead’s source is for this?
I already knew that the legacy seasonal dungeons would be available at max level M0 for the first time in TWW, but I assumed that’d be in addition to every TWW dungeon also being available and never thought it would include heroic. So that means half of the TWW dungeons will only be doable on normal for the duration of S1?

Lol I really hope not. If seasons are structured like DF you wouldn’t be able to do a TWW world tour until the very last season. I was looking forward to doing all the new dungeons on something above potato level too, these heroics are way too easy.

On September 10, The War Within Season 1 will begin with Heroic and Raid Finder Wing 1 of Nerub-ar Palace opening, Mythic 0 dungeons also become available along with Heroic Seasonal dungeons and the new World bosses.

That’s an interpretation of what’s said I suppose, because it doesn’t explicitly say that only the dungeons in the M+ rotation will have mythic or heroic difficulty available.
For what it’s worth, Darkflame Cleft has a mount that drops on mythic. It’d be funny to have that locked off for an unknown length of time, dependent on it showing up in a seasonal rotation to be able to even do M0 for it.
Im kinda glad tbh… lot of the new dungeons suck. Longer I go without the wacky minecart ride and the candle of tedium the better

This is what makes sense, and what is logical. In reality it’s a workflow thing. Bliz doesn’t want to have to balance/tune 8 new dungeons for M+ so that’s not what they went with. I can’t fathom why you can’t experience new content when it’s new, but then I see the Guild Diplomat cheevo pop up for the 5th time in 10 minutes and i understand why they made this choice. People been printing money for 15 years and still have workflow issues…
Hey don’t worry, I’m sure today they’re releasing a big ol’ patch that fixes all 1700 bugs with that dungeons.

Ultimately, I’m going to be putting Wowhead’s article to the test and trying to walk into one of the non-seasonal dungeons to see what happens. Either the portal won’t let me in on heroic/mythic, or it’ll default to normal once I enter. I feel like Wowhead’s just assuming something based on Blizz’s vague wording.

I’m hoping my key in the first vault on 17th is Dawnbreaker. I want to start the M+ season on the right foot!

I don’t understand. What is a Heroic Seasonal dungeon?
Meaning Heroics starting today follow the M+ rotation, not the 8 we’ve been doing the past 2 weeks.

The dungeon rotation for the recent expansions has always been eight dungeons, but this time it will affect all maximum level dungeons so mythic and heroic difficulties will be using the season rotation as well.
HA!! I found Dawnbreaker to even be a pain on Normal, not hard, just annoying mechanics. For one, I can’t use “jump” once mounted to get in the air and avoid the shadows, I have to use the ascend button.
… they want me wasting my time in old dungeons? I despise this crap they pull. I’m playing a new expansion. Not old crap I hate.
Guess I’m just not running end game content this season. That’s bs.

oh great, Mists of Tirna Scithe is on the seasonal rotation, can’t wait to see all my groups failing the puzzle again. and with that caster trinket there it’ll probably be one of the best dungeons to run as a lock
