Mythic+ Affix Changes

This video best represents how many feel regarding the new changes to Mythic+

Blizzard, PLEASE Fix M+ Affixes Before It’s TOO LATE.

I don’t think that this is what the player base meant by adding kiss/curse affixes. As a casual Mythic+ player, I experience many groups who refuse to take me due to my spec, these changes will only exacerbate the issue in 3/4 weeks. I understand that these changes would encourage recruiting unwanted specs during their week, but I don’t believe this is the proper way to handle it. Blizzard, you are so close to making the greatest expansion since Legion with TWW, please listen to the feedback from other players and follow up on their feedback.

For my personal two cents, I would instead make each week boosting a certain secondary stat. This would effectively have the same effect as you were intending but with less penalty for playing a certain spec that doesn’t benefit from a certain school type of damage.

Oh, and why is Bolstering and Sanguine still in rotation?

I dont know what keys youre doing Argorwal but this simply isnt the case - as a tank, even when I have a 12 or 13 with a healer on barely off hours I get the same seven ret paladins every time. ./s but like not

Its 10% damage

My only complaint is giving casters of ALL THINGS 30% haste or 20% damage boost

They’re gunna drop people

15% if you have a demon hunter in the party…

and there is already meta slavery with Vengeance (again…)

I should’ve mentioned Destro Warlock and Demon Hunters. They do Chaos damage that encompasses all school types of damage besides holy (I believe you can spec into that dmg type if wanted on DH)

Playing these specs guarantees you a spot every week and effectively dismantles their attempt at not having meta comps for M+

you are missing the forest through the trees, my friend. the buffs will not change absolutely anything. even a mage that can easily swap to arcane or frost would not swap, because the increases are so incredibly small over the course of a dungeon, that nobody will care. a shadow priest, for instance, right now does probably about 30pct more than any other spec in the game across an entire dungeon. giving a feral druid 3pct extra dps, if that, will not change anything, and that goes the same with the rest.

the ONLY thing that matters about these affixes is the curse portion, which will be absolutely terrible, i promise you. those curses coupled with raging, bolstering, sanguine and bursting will absolutely ruin the game.

this is also insane. if they gave dh a flat 10pct dmg buff RIGHT NOW, on live servers, the meta would not change in the slightest. and that is at least 3x more of a buff than it will actually give across a dungeon
