I see now how the concept of 8 free deaths and insta-brick on 9 makes sense when compared to Delves, but M+ is fundamentally based around a timer while Delves have a death-limit. I don’t think applying the Delve “fail” concept to a keystone dungeon makes sense; it’s based on a timer and adjustments to the time do make sense, it’s just a bit harsh to go from 5s/death to 15s/death in one step.
I was dreading doing 7s but having done a few of those and a few 8s (that were even 2-chested), it just didn’t feel that bad as is. Happy for an extra 90s though.
Same. It’s because the casters this season are so obnoxious. Too many interrupts needed all the time. It’s exhausting

Promotes you to get better so you don’t die.
Checked my history of keys with Peril. Closest call was at 3 minutes.
And shocker, everyone wants the easy versions because then they can claim they were “good” and then when presented with challenge they’re crying for nerfs

No more harsh than introducing fort /tyrannical, and again at 10, and guile at 12.
Then it should start on 11’s people only do 10’s for vaults people doing 11+ are into that and pushing. So give them that challenge.
Is this saying max power level keys shouldn’t be challenging despite them giving gilded crests and mythic track in the vault?

Imao this level of complaining is hilariously overblown on both sides.
All this does is narrow the disparity of skill while actually opening up timing it at a great level.
The majority of keys at higher level were being +1, not +2 and +3 might as well be dead at 8 and higher.
yes. artificial difficulty.
let the dungeon be the dungeon. let the boss be the fight.
no, it’s an enrage timer for the encounter, in the case the encounter is the dungeon, much like a raid fight
otherwise people would just wait for cds constantly

This is ludicrous. JUST REMOVE CHALLENGERS PERIL. Adding to the timer to compensate for it is an insane solution.

people who do the dungeons for the weekly dont do that - despite timer not mattering to them.
we keep hearing this story about waiting for cooldowns - has it ever happened? not yet. it’s a hypothetical scenario not based in reality.
Doesn’t happen right now because you have to beat the timer to increase your key level, remove the timer and it’ll become the norm to push
Who knows, we’ll never see it, the timer is part of m+, I like the timer
That’s just not true at. Look at all the timed 10s with 15 plus deaths already. The affix suffers from peoples feels vs reality. People feel they can’t do risky pulls or have a few wipes as it will brick the key. Reality is you can and still very easily time the key.

But you’ve hit it on the head. Most feel that after a few wipes it’s bricked and will leave anyways, thus why the failed key stays are up. It’s just a bad affix that inspires poor attitudes and less patience.
And now you have the age old question that is as relevant today as it was hundreds of years ago. Do we make changes based on facts or on people feelings. I mean if it was the second then we would still be living in a world where the earth is flat, the sun revolves around us and religion reigns supreme.

Extremely rare Blizzard W.
This makes 7s essentially easier than 6s.
I’m not against it, but I definitely do not see challengers peril surviving this season if they’re changing this.
It’s a positive change.
Revert back the kick/stop mechanics next
