I have a guildie that needs a weapon (fresh 60) so myself and another guildie (pally) ran ToP and Mists at 0 to kill the first boss for a weapon for him (he’s a DK). We successfully downed both bosses, but none of us got any loot (except for gold) from either boss. None of us had already done them this week, so we should’ve gotten a piece of loot to drop. Yet neither boss dropped anything. I thought 0s were supposed to drop a piece of loot on every single boss. Any insight? Thanks!
My only Guess would be that everyone gets a 20% chance at loot, designed for 5 players, meaning that If you try to game it by soloing or duoing the dungeon you have a 60% chance of not getting anything (since you two manned it in this instance) unfortunately you are now locked and cannot do it properly
Until next reset.
This has been my experience also… and it does kinda suck. I would expect there to be a guaranteed drop of some kind and it’s just random who gets it.
This is why farming old content is annoying until Blizzard enables legacy loot rules.
I think this is correct, and mainly is due to loot lockouts rather than ID lockouts.
Why mythic 0 had a weekly lockout at all is a different topic…
While I think it’s silly that Blizzard has done this with 0s, I guess it makes sense in some weird way. Thank you everyone for your responses!
