Mythic 0's coming out the same week as M+

What exactly was the thought process here? This completely kills the need for M0s. We’re going to do 1 for our key and then spam M+??

Just so I understand what you’re thinking of, the alternative is that M0 opens some time before the season (or at least, when M+ opens) and people spam M0 for gear in preparation for M+?

I guess the devs decided that earlier prep time wasn’t worth it. It’s going to go exactly as you say.

Can you link where you’re seeing this? Last I knew, M0 was starting Sept. 10 and M+ doesn’t start until Sept. 17.

you’re right actually, thanks for the clarification. i just assumed it was all releasing since the start of the season is the 10th

Agreed. They decided to make M+ very, very difficult this season (if you haven’t played beta, you’re in for a surprise).

They need to allow M0 to have zero lockout for a week (next week). Allow people to experience the mythic dungeon mechanics.

EDIT: Actually this post seems incorrect. Here is the official website launch schedule:

  • 9/10: The War Within Season 1 Begins with Normal and Heroic raid difficulty, Raid Finder Wing 1, Mythic 0 Dungeons, Heroic Seasonal dungeons, a new World Boss, and PvP Season 1
  • 9/17: Mythic raids and Mythic+ dungeons open, Raid Finder Wing 2 opens, raid Story Mode opens

M+ drops 2-3 drops per dungeon, M0 drops 1 per boss. I assume for crests each boss in M0 will drop as well.

M0 has no key and no timer.

it’s got more loot drops since every boss drops them and is chill.

M0 is cool. it’s the heroic that’s pointless.

Heroics have the one advantage of automatic matchmaking, but if power progression is the point you’re pretty right.

And in the pre-M+ first week of the season, I’m guessing party makers aren’t going to be as picky since no one has any rating to judge by. It’s going to be spamalot until you feel like you’re geared adequately.

M0s lost their value because you can just craft 590 gear and M0 drops 593s… lol

It’s better to just go straight into M+ to boost your IO score up so you can get invited to bigger keys.

Disadvantage for me cause I haven’t been able to play with friends in heroics

I think most people are vastly over estimating the level of keys they’ll be running this season
