yep but if you point this out especially with random groups that have less coordination and usually people who are less than willing to even talk simple things out you just get told that someones 3k dedicated dung group had no problem after running on beta for months and taking in every youtube guide they saw. the boss has a lot that can go wrong and for sure feels overtuned its literally the only thing in all the dungeons that felt that was as a healer
i would go ahead and assume almost every person in this forum who talks about how easy m0s are did them with a premade and was not only themselves a high key pusher in DF, but many or all of their group members were too.
at a minimum, the average wow player is going to be doing these in a pug. tuning them around guilds and premades is not a wise decision.
Nah, they are faceroll easy. Iâve done 3 of them, 2 I did last night when I was wasted, not even 585 ilvl. Did T8 Delve too.
This game is faceroll af, the only âdifficultyâ is how much time do you have to upgrade every little piece of poop gear in time for everyone else who was already 610 ilvl before you could even log in to the game.
Thatâs why they gate the only content until the 17th, because this other stuff isnât even a video game, itâs a put the tank on follow simulator or âlog in after everything is nerfedâ sim or âdont log in until the sweats have gotten boredâ.
the difficulty of both delves and mythic+ is fine imo
its the rewards that are all out of wack
Its âMythicâ
Not timewalking while you watch youtube.
Who do you think âMythicâ content is made for?
If its too hard for you, learn why. Improve.
Just like sports. We have community sign up and we have leagues and we have pro.
I.e. You are a community sign up player saying pro level is too hard, and pro level players only say its easy 'cause they only play with other pro level players⌠lol.
Anyone who thinks half of the playerbase is bad but them is the bad one. stop with the cap.
I think that the m0s are fine. The only one that slaps me around a lot is GB. I can deal with the others with ease, but that one? Nah, I wonât pug it at all, I refuse. The last boss on ara is cakewalk for dks. I canât help but laugh a little seeing people scrambling to get rooted and I just hit my movement ability to immune myself lolol.
596 blood dk for ref.
Yes, we know, in the class arms race DKs have surpassed literally every single melee. That is why they and Pallies are some of the most played while literally no one plays Rogue.
Gee, I wonder why.
Yeas it be like that. Remember to kill the adds he spawns.
Or he will eat all health again tomoo
M0 is equivalent to M10 in Shadowlands. They squished it in DF, and M0 is much harder now than in the past.
But heâs right though most players are bad. Probably well over half.
M0 is not equivalent to a previous M+10.
Look at the gear track. M+10 is/was champion in DF, changed now to +5âs since DF S4.
Yeah I might be off on the precise scaling, but the point is they squished the tiers so now M0 is harder than pre-DF. If you skipped DF (like many people), it can seem overtuned.
Please, nothing is hard about these dungeons. Thereâs no reason why people still understand over two week later that we got run left or right in Dawnbreaker with the poison tide.
No reason for a tank to not understand after 8 years that you kill your party if youâre not on the Melee tentacles on Siege of Boralus and sitll canât do after told them so.
I got many many many more examples. I assume youâre probably part of the people who cause mistakes non that waste everyoneâs time in a group.
You seem to be under the misapprehension that every player can be an elite competitor with the experience of decades of competitive videogaming, just by wishing it so. That they should want this, or theyâre doing life wrong. The actual fact is that the majority of players in every game are casuals. There is absolutely nothing blizzard nor you can do to convince millions of casuals who play the game as a pastime that the only thing important in life is hounding other players for not meeting their exacting standards of achievement.
There should be content in the game for different types of players. Refusing to provide such content means the game is less profitable, and you are the one who ends up with less content.
After chewing through Normal and Heroics while ignoring mechanics, having to deal with mechanics again is going to be a giant hurdle for most people.
For who? Those who just started playing WoW yesterday?
I did Ara Kara, adds came out. I turned around and started killing one because it had a red beam attached to me, that means an add is coming and bad happen. I was the only person attacking it. We wiped on the first boss. The healer then proceeds to ask people to kill adds.
Add come, kill add has been a mechanic since Vanilla World of Warcraft. If you canât do this, even if the dungeon is completely new to you (which this isnât, everyone has spammed it 100 times to upgrade their poop gear).
There is ZERO EXCUSE.
Iâd say a lot of the dungeons are under tuned in relation of how they said they wanted 0âs
I want to say it started with a 12 sec on beta but they made it 1 min because of the way players where dealing with the mechanic. That might have been a different boss however. I know they did something similar multiple times to the first boss of Ara-Kara because players would ignore adds, then they let him eat adds and just kite during the buff.
Iâll be the first to say I donât really care for the instant jump from heroics to what used to be a +10. With that said it does fit the design intent.
Heroics are for your super casual players who donât want to que and get anxiety about dying, wiping or learning mechanics. These are made for everyone.
Mythics are intended for the group of players who want M+ without a timer. This means that there still needs to be a challenge and that equates to extreme damage and tons of mechanics. Players who are on the lower end of the skill curve who wish to participate can run heroics which drop 480 base now and use crests to upgrade their gear to out gear it a bit. Add in the vault and over time even those lower skilled players are going to be able to clear these in time.
M+ is for those who want to push for different goals whether that be max ilvl gear, portals or just to see how far they can go.
The issue here outside of some mechanics being over tuned (and there are definitely some such as the last boss of Ara-Karaâs poison) is that its the first week of the season so things are going to be the hardest they will all season. Its ok to not be able to clear some of these week one. By week two or three things will get easier as you will now have more gear. Even easier when the nerfs start to roll in.
Its day 2 and we already see far less wipes than yesterday as people are learning the mechanics and what needs to be interrupted. Where yesterday I was pretty much limited to single pack pulls today Iâm already up to 2-4 pack pulls in pugs with no issues.
Just give it a bit of time and learning and youâll get there.
I just cleared this on a 578 BDK, while there where some casters that hit pretty hard Iâm curious what you thought was difficult. I would say the other hard parts where first boss we got horrible rng and it was the end strips every single time so I took a lot of damage running back and forth with my back to the boss (ran out of speed boosts and barely made some of them, ended up having to strife sideways and jump shot move for his attacks hoping to parry,) Second boss his sword phase hit really hard compared to being on my bear. I think that was it though.
