Mythic 0 For noobs

We should be able to do this under dungeon finder. At 198 and DPS im stuck. Guessing being in a real guild is needed as decline decline decline. This is my First XPAC since 2009 and Wrath. But they have to have a Mythic starting point. And getting mythic experience for every one only helps us all in the end. ATM doing BGS for gear. That will get boring quickly.

My Tues Two Cents… This is a lil more serious then my usual posts.

WTF Blizzard of the day: Did a layer 8 got 40 ash… Made a ticket. Will let ya know how that goes.

Blizzards White Knights Disclaimer: There is Sarcasm in the above, But much truth. No need to freak out.

DPS life yo.
You’re a dime a dozen, whenever I list a group it’s like 50 dps and maybe one tank…eventually.

You can go for it as a noob (no presssure on time etc) but better for them to keep it as it is so there’s a transition where players learn to group up to get ready for m+.

Zero would be the noob zone all from 1 up for advanced. It would help the community grow. You join the queue you know your with noobs, les kicking and declining more playing for everyone.

The guys I play with are all doing mythic+ I went story line and Rep first. But I want to get experience before i start going with them. I found this as almost impossible on a Saturday night. That will turn players away.

Just start ur own group? Or is this not a possibility?

Make your own group, pretty simple.

At least up to +8 I’ve not had this issue. And I’m playing the worse of the 2 melee dps specs my class offers.

Getting higher keys means a preformed group (aka guild runs) or building up your io.

Try running your own key. It takes a lot less time to put things together.

Or make friends to make a group with. Heck you could even meet up once or a few times a week and make a thing out of it. Heck you could get enough to do raids even. Heck you could do rated pvp even…

I think im on to something…

After my experiences in M0, I still feel like I have to be able to vet those singing up because otherwise it’ll never be cleared.

Pugging is the worst way to experience this game; friends and guilds make the experience infinitely better.

I get it and like I said I will be doing them with friends, But if everyone new has to go through what I saw on Saturday (Maybe a fluke) many will just leave. I think thats bad for our community in general.

If you are on Discord, I recommend looking up Perky Pugs. They have rules in their LFG channel limiting requirements you can post… like you can’t require an ilvl higher than what the dungeon drops, and you cannot use raiderio. It’s a very active discord and I have a lot of luck finding and getting into groups. People there are extremely nice.

I def will thanks

Blizzard have been repeatedly burned by putting “hard” content in LFG. LFG content has to be designed in such a way that 5 people who meet the bare minimum can beat the dungeon and M0 is not.

So as a result, Group Finder ends at Heroic Dungeons and LFR. Everything else is premade, which has always had a caveat emptor approach, where pugging is an inherent risk.

Also you’re getting declined a bunch because whenever you actually make a group, you get a minimum of 10 applicants. Usually more. So when you’ve only got a maximum of four spots and 10 people wanting in to your group, most are going to be disappointed.

Working as intended. Completing a layer on Torghast gives it’s Soul Ash and any below it.

If you go 1 through 8, you’re only going to get 40 Soul Ash off the 8th layer. However, if you complete the 8th layer first, you get ALL the Soul Ash from that wing.

There is no compelling reason M0 should not be on a queue.

Let groups fail. Some peeps will drop, eventually the group will make it though.

I spent more than a few minutes applying to M0 groups on a arms warrior the other night, lost count of applications and declines with zero social interaction on the part of the groups declining. My thought was, well if no one is going to talk why is a computer not doing this for me? It only took me about 10 minutes to get an accept and the we killed the dungeon. The difference in the system in place and the queue is that I could have done something fun with those 10 minutes I had to wait as opposed to keep spamming applications.

Now, I don’t mind there being some sort of achievement check (like having completed all the current heroics on that toon) to access a M0 queue. And of course a minimum ilevel.

The experience you faced is a symptom of the times. SL has had a greater imbalance of the normal DPS/Tank/Heal ratio.

Putting m0 as a queable dungeon would only delay people facing that experience when they try higher content. There’s definitely a place for dungeoning for new players and the current options suffice.

You facing that hurdle on Saturday night is because of the huge number of players in the same boat as you. Would be a very different if you were in a different role.

While I don’t have any particular opinions on m0 being something you can queue for or not, consider that there is always going to be a dungeon level point thats balanced around a group actually trying to complete it vs, a group being expected to complete it. For instance, cata heroics were random queues and it was even expected that some groups plain couldn’t finish a dungeon if they didn’t try and, there was a massive outcry. It was an expectation from the players that if you were able to click the accept button for a dungeon, that you could clear it without issue. Sure we could put m0 on the random dungeon finder, and i’m sure most groups would be able to clear them easily but, how long until +2s are asked? +3s? +4s? so on and so forth.

Judging from everything i’ve read on these forums people would NOT be okay with being put into a dungeon they can’t complete via the random dungeon finder even if the reason they can’t is themselves. An arbitrary line in the sand must be drawn at some point and Blizzards decided m0 is that arbitrary line.

Was Just an 8 said gave 400 something.

To be fair there’s no reason why Mythic 0 couldn’t be in a group finding option considering it’s not timed.
The only part that would wad people’s panties in a bunch would be the fact that you could repeat it… but its mythic 0… who cares

Thats what I mean. Mythic 0 should be a learn the Mechanics level. I get both sides but to me Im thinking overall health of the community. And I am saying this as a Single player returning or someone new. Being in a guild changes this drastically obviously
