that ship sailed back in wrath. when they bought it back in cata it ended badly. after that heorics were just given up on being hard and they never really tried to make them hard again.
and the game bleed millions of subs because of it. game stops being fun people quit big shocker.
I give them 2 weeks to fix it after this remix crap releases or I am out for good.
We need a better transition from heroic to mythic0. Probably one of the worst changes I have seen in awhile.

What do you want mythic mechanics to be used in heroic difficulty? Yeah, not gonna happen anytime soon. Make heroic harder? Tried that and it didn’t go so well.
Was in a dungeon with a dps over 500 ilvl that died multiple times and did poor dps compared to another with lower ilvl.
Last season I helped many people earn mythic score. I worked hard with them to help people learn. Majority of those couldn’t even benefit from the mythic level we were struggling to get them through because they had so much gear. They would complain that they felt stuck at their ilvl all the time.
Because of my experience this is what I have come to believe. A large health pool will only help you survive so much.
And I’ve mentioned it in other threads, but I’ll say it again here…
The problem is going to be A LOT worse in TWW than it is now because everyone is going to be starting at a lower point instead of having carry over gear from last season to help them get started.
It’s almost like M0 was fine before and taught you the dungeon but now feels like a sweat fest to casuals like me.

It won’t really be an issue because good players are also at the same starting point roughly, and you can more or less luck into a group that knows what to do.
Maybe if the casual players jump in early. But with the way things are designed, once you can do M+2s you never have to do lower content again.
So if casaul/less skilled players miss that initial push they are going to be in for a long uphill climb
And the 3-day head start may make that even shorter

The 3 day early access won’t allow those type of player to have access to the dungeons atleast at endgame and won’t be able to do much at endgame.
Uh because I don’t enjoy everything being faceroll all the time?
I like mechanics and the challenge. If I wanted the challenge of a M+10 I would be running M+10s.
I support people who want challenging content.
There’s a lot of grey area here that is being overlooked and ignored possibly just to troll.

But it will allow them to finish leveling before the x-pack launches, which will allow them to concentrate on gearing from day one…and shorten the time period that casual/less skilled players have to participate in the rapid push to mythic content before all of the skilled players are only farming M+s. Thus, highlighting how the new Mythic design will be worse on players in TWW

And yet there are people that would complain and whine about being too hard and too convoluted. Speaking of hard and convincing during the whole of dragonflight YouTube have been going off on how retail is so convoluted mess. And so by making anything else harder will further increase these videos on YouTube.
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having so much trouble… please keep in mind that if you look up the boss fight, or even just do it enough times, the mechanics are all pretty easy and repetitive after a while.
As a creator of a thread complaining about M0 difficulty I salute your braveness. But fair warning it did not go well for me.

I’d rather they don’t. I strongly prefer how rewards are structured now. If that’s a minority opinion, so be it, blizz will decide in the long run.
This topic has been non stop okay. People ask for more “rewarding experience” and here we are season 4 given exactly that. And yet here we are again making lower difficulty to be on the same field as a mythic when heroic and normal are supposed to be gearing or just being laid back experience. Mythic on the other hand are there to give you hard content since people have been asking for harder mythic experience and there got your wish and as a consequence some will feel like it’s too hard.
The funny thing is that most of the people who keep making these “git gud” posts came into the season already geared enough to jump right into mythics so they didn’t even have to experience the problems they argue don’t exist.
Who are these people? Nothing changed for the people that were already farming high M+s so who cares what they asked for.
I doubt its the people on the low end who asked for this…and they are definitely not asking for it now.
Oh they were asking for this change as the rewarding experience? My bad.
